Chapter 8. Misunderstanding

Ji Eun's P.O.V.

I ran outside because i was hoping that I could see Chanyeol and talk to him about this. Explain more about me and Kai and why I didn't agreed to him. But, I looked to the left and right and Chanyeol was nowhere. I decided to run to wherever my feet takes me. I ran in the sidewalk, hoping that I would see Chanyeol, but I didn't. It was already 4:30 PM in the afternoon. Sheesh, I'm so tired running. I decided to walk. I lost hope in finding Chanyeol. I held out my phone because I wanted to text him. But I didn't, because I want to talk to him personally, not through texting. I walked and walked. Walking and glancing at my cellphone. Suddenly, I saw a park. Also, I saw a guy sitted on a bench. His jacket looked familiar. Even though he's already sitting, he's still tall. I felt like it was Chanyeol. I really felt it. I came near and sat next to him.

"Chanyeol oppa." I said.

"Bwo? (What?) What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said.

"Then leave me alone." He said. "I was alone anyway." He muttered.

Then, an awkward silence broke into the situation. I don't know how to start or what to say. But then, I found the words how.

"Mianhe. (I'm sorry.) I didn't mean to hurt you." I said.

He sniffed.

"I didn't mean to. Really." I said. "You know what, I admit. Before, I really really do love you. But when you confessed to me, and Kai, that time, we were already engaged. When you confessed to me, it felt like I wasn't for you. It felt like you and me connected in almost everything except one, and I can't explain it. You're a very kind guy, oppa. You are. You are sweet, caring, and loving. Any girl would be lucky to have you. But for me, I think wasn't right for you." I explained.

"I understand. If you love Kai, then it's alright. If you're happy with him, then I'm happy too. Where your happiness is, is where my happiness is too." Chanyeol answered.

"Please don't be mad at me." I said.

"Don't worry. I won't. I will be happy for the both of you." He said.

"Thank you, oppa." I answered.

"And I will pray for your speedy pregnancy so that I can see Kkamjong's child. Kekekekekekek! Joke!" Chanyeol joked and smiled.

"Yah oppa! I don't plan to have a child with him!" I exclaimed.

"Dududu~ You will have a child. Ble!" Chanyeol said as he cutely sticked his tongue out.

"Aish~" I said.

Chanyeol stood up and called me.

"Yah, let's go?" Chanyeol said.

"Uhh, okay." I said. "But, are you sure you're okay?" I asked.

"Don't worry. I will be okay. Thank you for everything. The happiness you gave me, thank you for that." He told me as he went near me to kiss my cheeks.

"Okay oppa. Thanks for understanding, too." I said.

"So, shall we?" He asked.

"Ga ja! (Let's go!)" I cheerfully shouted.
