North Kingdom of Colossal (year 2159)
“Good morniiiiiing!” Christopher entered my room yelling.
“Wake up!!!” He screamed out loud. I opened my eyes and sat up immediately.
“What do you want?!” I asked him.
This is my best friend Christopher. It’s a daily routine for him to barge in to my room since he’s required to. He is also my Guardian or Protector. My name is Lisanna, Princess of colossal. I’m a mystic or a blue blood.
In this world, there are only two types of people left.
The first one are The Hunters, and of course us, the Mystics.
It started way back in 2059, when the kingdom of Vesta formulated a serum to enhance the abilities of their soldiers.
They created the red bloods, also known as the Hunters. Only few survived the process. The Hunters obtain exceptional strengths, stamina, speed, fighting skills and much more.
They are like killer machines; they can kill hundreds of ordinary people with their bare hands.
They were trained to exterminate and destroy whatever it is in their path. They have diminished hundreds of kingdoms and my great grandfather knew our time will come soon enough.
In order to protect our kingdom my Great grandfather king Howard invented a technology that will bring out the power of a human brain to its full extent.
He used his newborn son for his experiment, and it was a success. At the age of 3 my grandfather King Leon possessed telekinesis and mastered it at the age of 5. Years later, Blue Bloods showed enormous type of power. Because of that, blue blood stands as a threat to the kingdom of Vesta.
They plotted to kill my Grandfather, at that time he was only 18 years old, but they failed; my great grandfather decided to form a treaty between the two kingdoms. He thought of a way wherein the two kingdoms don’t have to destroy each other.
The kingdom of Vesta agreed to the truce and from that day on, there was peace between the two kingdoms. Yet it still worries my grandfather that maybe one day the kingdom of Vesta will wage a war.
So that’s it. Now back to me. I jumped out of bed as my best friend won’t stop nagging me. I decided take a shower. But before he left he reminded me about my speech for our graduation ceremony. I sighed heavily; He left and shut the door.
(Graduation Ceremony)
It’s already 5:00 pm and our ceremony is about to start. Yeah I’m graduating; we’ll do the pledgeship thingy and I’ll be crowned 4 weeks from now. I’m not really enthusiastic about it.
“It looks like you’re it.” Christopher said worriedly, looking at me. He knew me very well, I was quite nervous. I mean I’ve done speeches before, but today is a very big event for our kingdom especially because I’ll be crowned after this.
I stared at him for a while and he pat my shoulders, he reminded me to take a deep breath and so I did. I greeted everyone one good evening, and I congratulated my batch mates for our accomplishment.
Then I started my speech.
“This is the moment that we’ve always dreamed of. Today is the day when all of us will officially pledge ourselves to our respective duties.” I stared at all the people who were there in the stadium. I looked at my parents and smiled.
“I believe that all those years of training have prepared us for the future. To defend our kingdom together against our enemies, to strengthen our bond with each other and taught us to rise everytime we fall down.
Remember we are Mystics! We rise, we lead, and we succeed! So let’s all cheers to that!”
I know it’s short but I said it whole heartedly. I went to take a seat beside my parents. My father congratulated me, my mother smiled and said well-done dear. After the ceremony everyone went to the palace for a party. I decided to go to my room and change.
After that I teleported myself all the way from my room to our training academy, yes I can do that. I’ve achieved Teleportation at the age of eight. They said I was like my grandfather.
As a king, he was loved by our people. He was compassionate and loving to everyone. He wasn’t able to attend my graduation ceremony because he went to attend the meeting in Orion, a city in the east side of our kingdom.
”Hey!” I was surprised. I looked back, who else could it be?!
“Christopher!” I yelled. “Why do you keep on doing that?!”
“What?” He replied with a wink, as he sat next to me,
“What are you doing here? The party was for you, and yet you’re not even there.”
All I could do was sighed.
“What’s bothering you?” He asked.
“I’m afraid,” I replied.
We both stared at the moon. It was perfect, it was full, and it glowed amidst the darkness.
“Star” he said, I turn to him.
“What do you mean?”
“You’re a star, you might not be as bright as the moon but you still give light to the world.”
I blushed, as we both laughed.
“You might not be like your father or your grandfather, but I believe in you. You’re going to be a fantastic queen one day.” He added. He stood up and offered his hand to me.
“Let’s go, I heard King Leon is arriving tomorrow.”
I smiled, “Yeah let’s go home I need to rest, it’s gonna be a busy day tomorrow.”
