I walked through the door and was instantly hit with darkness, not a single soul or light around, I saw a small wooden coffee table appear with a card and lighter next to it. I casually looked both ways and walked towards the table, every step felt as if one wrong move would break the ground.

I picked up the letter and started to read it while carefully picking up the small silver lighter:

'Dearest, Alice

It's a pretty dark place here, or onshore. Wherever you are really, I decided to be nice to you and give you my pop's old lighter. I suggest you try to find the gray rabbit, the white rabbit at the moment is...in trouble. Anyways, this is long I dearly hope that you find the gray rabbit.

-From CC'

I furrowed my brows, who was 'CC' I put the letter down and examined the lighter. "It seems simple enough..." I whispered while putting it an arm-length away from my face, I lit it aflame and watched the small fire wave around as if it had a mind of its own.

I moved slowly still making sure the fire wasn't touching my skin, "it's...pure darkness. As if there isn't a single life or even lamppost around. Am i dead, it seems as if even myself can't find where I am…" I took one step forward and screamed falling down this mysterious hole that appeared.

I was twisting and spinning in darkness, I looked around me-memories. I saw mirrors and walls of my childhood and past, I saw when my mother and father were happy. Have I gone mad?

Than I started floating, brightness creaked through an open window, "....Wonderland" I mumbled, yes. That's what I'll call it. Wonderland, what a beautiful name for a place in my head. I leaned forward and pressed against the window as brightness of some sort burst and dissolved me in whole. Oh lord, where was I?
