I wake up feeling happy. I'm so happy just because me and Daniel finally kissed. I've liked him for a little while now but I didn't want to believe that I do. I didn't wanna be the typical girl who just likes a guy then gets hate because everyone else thinks I'm using him for the fame. I'm kinda glad I told him I like him because after saying it out loud I realized how much I actually like him. My phone buzzes next to me. I unplug it and answer the call. It's from Daniel.
Daniel: good morning
Me: good morning
Daniel: wanna come over and hang out
Me: sure I'll be there in a bit
Daniel: I was actually gonna come pick you up if that's fine
Me: oh yeah that's fine
Daniel: okay I'll be there in a half an hour
Me: okay bye
Daniel: bye
I hang up and hop out of bed. I take a shower and do all that stuff. I change into maroon joggers that aren't too baggy but just perfect. I throw on a black tank top and leave my hair natural. I put on my little amount of mascara. I go out to my living room and put on my black and white adidas running shoes. I sit on the couch and wait. Then I hear a knock at the door so I get up and open it. "Hi" Daniel says. "Hi" I smile. He looks down at my lips and back up to my eyes. He leans in and kisses me. Not for long but long enough. He pulls away and we smile at each other. We both walk out and into his car. The ride to his house wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be. We talking about random stuff like the band and college. We arrive and walk in to see jack and Zach on the floor wrestling. "GIVE ME MY PHONE" Jack yells as Zach is struggling to keep his phone from him. "NOT UNTIL YOU APOLOGIZE FOR CHEATING ON JACHERY" Zach yells. They both stop as they look at me and Daniel standing there. They both get up and Jack snatches his phone back. We just laugh and sit on the couch along with everyone. "Hey Kate" Corbyn says. "Hi bean" I say. "Can I talk to you?" He asks. I look at him kind of nervous. "Yeah sure" I say getting up. I look at Daniel before I walk away and he has the same thought as me. I turn and walk into the kitchen with Corbyn. "So what's up with you and Daniel?" He asks straight away. "What do you mean?" I ask obviously knowing what he meant. "He told us what happen last night" he smirks at me. "Oh yeah." I nervously laugh. "He really does like you though" he says with a reassuring smile. "Id hope he wasn't just lying" I laugh. "Ha well I think you guys would be great together" he says. "Thanks bean" I say. He nods as we both walk out of the kitchen. I go sit back next to Daniel. I look at him and he looks at me with a puzzled face. He just stands up and takes my hand. He basically drags me up to his room. He shuts the door as I stand there. "Kayla I really like you. I wanted to save this for a better time but I just wanna do this now. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks with a hopeful look. "Of course I will" I smile. He grabs me by my waist and pulls me in for a passionate kiss. We pull away and laugh. "What?" He asks. "I would have never thought I would be dating a member of a boy band" I laugh even more. He laughs along with me. This feels right. We decide to lay in his head and watch Netflix. I end up falling asleep on his chest.
Daniel POV
I look down and see her fast asleep on me. She's adorable. I never caught feelings this fast before it's weird. Just as soon as I saw her I felt like I've known her forever. She kind of looked familiar. I just kind of pushed that feeling away but now that I think about it she really does look like my old best friend. There was this girl I hung out with all the time before I moved away. She was my best fiend since day one. She was always there for me and I was always there for her. He name was also Kayla but I thought that was just a coincidence. I decided to look at our old photos on my moms Facebook. I looked through them and saw one that was me and her and captioned 'trouble makers together'. I smile and see a little mark on the girl in the photo. She had a little scar on her upper forehead. I look down and Kayla and mood her hair slightly to see a little scar. Oh my god. This is my old best friend. She slowly wakes up noticing how tense I was. "what's up?" She says looking up at me. I just show her the picture. "That's us" I say. "Oh my god. Your him. My old best friend!" She exclaims. "I can't believe it's actually you I thought I would never come across you ever again" she says frowning a little. "I told you before I left that I would find you one day" I say smiling making her smile too. We finish our movie and we both fall asleep on my bed.
