A/n - Quick note here, this story won't focus on 'regular' Spider-man, so if you're looking for a story as close as possible to any Marvel/Sony Spider-man iteration, then this isn't it. That being said, enjoy!

F/n - Father's name.

------------------------------------------

-"Enough, Kacchan! You already made him cry... Stop it! I-I won't let you!" The green-haired boy's voice cracks.

Kacchan-"So Deku, the quirkless wonder thinks he can play hero, huh?

People...

Are not born equal.

The three children transform, one of them extended his hand and fingers, wings sprout from the back of the other, as small explosions flare on "Kacchan"'s hand. They beat on the child trying to defend the other boy.

Minutes pass, with the park now almost empty, "Deku" lies on the floor, crying, unaware of a silent spectator sitting far away on a swing.

*BEEP* *BEEP*

*Yawn*

After a long, sleepless night Y/n tiredly crawled out of his bed, sitting on its edge.

Y/n: "That dream..." He once again wondered if he was really gifted with intelligence, or if a powerful quirk could truly outshine any other gift.

He started to make his way towards the bathroom.

The boy suddenly stopped. The door he was looking at, no... The whole room was different. Where was he?

...Ah, it was his grandfather's house.

-

Brushing his teeth wasn't enough to keep him in reality, so his thoughts drifted off to the previous night.

--

He was sitting quietly on a train seat with a pair of bags in his hands, looking out the window, or at his reflection. He was sad to admit, he had been a bit... Distant with his mother, or his family for that matter, since quite some time... it was either this or repression of his own feelings that led to an unnervingly fast emotional recovery from the event in those past weeks. Regardless, as hard as it may have been, she wouldn't have wanted him to feel sad. Not a single bit. His phone rang for a moment before he picked it up.

Y/n- "F/n"

F/n- "Hello"

Y/n- "Shouldn't you be at work?"

F/n- "I took an hour off to clear things up about how these next days will be. Did the packet arrive? it's an extension of my card, I will be very occupied so it should help you take care of yourself. I won't worry about what you spend your money on, as long as you don't exaggerate."

Y/n: "Mmhm."

F/n: "The rest of your bags will be sent over the next few days. I have already informed your grandfather about this."

Y/n- "Good to see that you care now that you have no option, at least you didn't put me up for adoption. What a great dad."

F/n- "I don't want to hear your complaints, call the number I gave you only if there's an emergency."

Y/n- "Yeah, sure."

*Click*

Y/n grabbed the card and inspected it. It was black in color, lined with gold letters that read 'Aquiles', the name of the medical company his father owned. Fancy.
