I held a ice pack to my chin as Shawn held one to his shoulder from the land outside the ring, we walked down to Vince's office and pounded on the door so hard I thought it was gonna break.
"Come in!" was shouted, we entered the room and Shawn slammed the door behind us.
Vince stood up "Shawn, Adrienne. What brings you two down to my office?" he asked as he crossed his arms.
Shawn started towards him and I put a hand on his chest moving him backwards "Why the hell was Shawn in the rumble tonight? His name wasn't on that damn list you gave me" I snapped.
"If you had known would you have entered? Look, if the two love birds of WWF go against each other our views go sky high. Shane gave me the idea and I thought it was excellent."
Shawn was fuming "I'm gonna give you both a view in a moment" he warned, I put both my hands on Shawn to keep him from punching Vince.
"Its a stupid idea. We hurt each other tonight, I didnt want to do that to Shawn" I said as I softly touched his shoulder making him wince "Why do I want to punch the best thing that has ever happened to me."
Shawn put his hand over mine as he looked down into my eyes "And why would I want to kick my beautiful heart?" he said as he looked down at me, he glared at McMahon "That was a stupid move."
Vine smirked "Well, unless Adri plans on quitting, I am not making any changes" he said and motioned to the door "Either leave my office or leave WWF, Adrienne."
Fuming, I pushed Shawn out the door and into the hall before he could chin kick Vince through a window. I slammed the door behind us and Shawn escorted me out of the building with my arm through his as we held ice packs to our hurt places.
"I really am starting to get pissed at Vince's shit" he said as we walked out to the parking lot to look for his rental, he looked down at me "God, your chin is bruised bad."
He put his hand to my chin as we neared the truck and I looked at his arm, it was startin to bruise from where he had landed on it "I feel so terrible" I said putting my hand on his arm.
We stayed like that for a moment, looking over each other and thinking of how badly we hurt each other. It broke my heart to have to do that to him, and as he looked down into my eyes I knew he felt bad too.
Shawn wrapped his arms around me in a hug "I swear to you, no matter how bad it gets ...I will never hurt you like that again" he whispered as he hugged me to him, I put my head on his chest and closed my eyes.
"I'll quit before I have to do that to you again" I admitted, he pulled back away from me wide eyed and started to open his mouth, I put my hand to his mouth "Dont say it. I wont let you. You mean more to me than any title or wrestling move there is. If I fought my way to the Wrestling World, than I can fight for you. I would fight a brick wall just to get to you, Shawn. You reminded me what it is like to feel loved."
His eyes just looked down at me before he removed my hand from his mouth and put both of his hands over my one.
"Adrienne ...you mean Everything to me."
He leaned down and kissed me.

"And here enters, the world champion ...Adrienne DarkKill! Who also won the royal rumble by throwing her boyfriend, who is known as the Heartbreak Kid, Shawwwwwn Michaels! Out of the ring" Gary yelled as me and Shawn walked into the restaurant.
As I passed my brother, I smacked him so hard he flew back into the booth making my other brothers laugh as me and Shawn passed them and went to the table where Hunt, Kevin, Scott, Mark, and Matt Hardy sat with my father, grandfather, stepmother and Jed with his girl.
