It was dark and cold, the clock which hanged on the wall almost struck 1 am. Taehyung has been avoiding sleep, knowing what he'd see the second he closes his eyes.

The clock's hands ticked as he sat frozen, his bloodshot, sore eyes staring at it helplessly, hoping that maybe, just maybe he'd find the answer to his problem within that damn clock; but of course, it was no use. Instead, it was making him more irritated, more angry at himself.

Once his fingers started tapping on the wooden table to the ticking of the clock, he knew he needed to get out of the house, he needed some fresh air otherwise he would probably end up going insane. With his eyebrows furrowed in a glare he propped himself up, deciding he'd go to the local bar, drink his empty heart away.

"ᵂʰʸ ᵈᵒᵉˢ ᵗʰⁱˢ ᵈᵃᵐⁿ ᵇʳᵉᵃᵏᵘᵖ ᵃᶠᶠᵉᶜᵗ ᵐᵉ ˢᵒ ᵐᵘᶜʰ..."

He thought, almost angrily picking an outfit that suited the 'occasion'; going for black leather jeans and a tight shirt, not really caring about his appearance yet still in his heart hoping he'll see him. Min Yoongi.

Grabbing his phone and headphones, he slipped on his backpack, sighing heavily as he lazily trotted over to the door, stepping outside

Grabbing his phone and headphones, he slipped on his backpack, sighing heavily as he lazily trotted over to the door, stepping outside. It was cold for sure, the light breeze brushing the skin of his exposed neck, causing slight goosebumps to form within the surface.

His tired vision was soon blinded by the streetlights  - since in the end, Seoul doesn't sleep even if it was around 2 am - making it hard, almost impossible for him to see straight or where he was going.

Luckily for Taehyung, his body knew the way to the bar he wanted to go to, in the end, he has been there almost every other day post the 2 month breakup with Yoongi, his heart longing for him

Luckily for Taehyung, his body knew the way to the bar he wanted to go to, in the end, he has been there almost every other day post the 2 month breakup with Yoongi, his heart longing for him.

All the thoughts which erupted his brain caused his eyes to fill with invisible layer of tears, his cheeks burning slightly once the watery substance came in contact with the wind, causing him to hiss and wipe them almost immediately, mentally slapping himself for his weakness.

After about twenty minutes of walking to the bar, his legs took him inside. He was immediately hit with the loud music, people's chatter and cheers, the smell of sweat and alcohol and of course, the place was crowded; crowded with people just like him, who wanted to forget, who wanted to drink their sorrows away.

Taehyung looked around the place, the flashing lights hitting his eyes wherever he looked. Without wasting more time, he confidently walked further inside, making his way towards the bartender to order his usual.

"ᵀᵒⁿⁱᵍʰᵗ ⁱˢ ᵃˡˡ ᵃᵇᵒᵘᵗ ᶠᵒʳᵍᵉᵗᵗⁱⁿᵍ"

He would justify his behaviour like that, only to forget that he told himself the same lie over and over again for the past 2 months

He would justify his behaviour like that, only to forget that he told himself the same lie over and over again for the past 2 months.

He took his seat, his tired eyes looking up at the bartender who seemed like his best friend at this point, the male returned his gaze.

"The usual?"

His voice echoed through his ears, earning a nod from Taehyung without thinking twice. It didn't take long for his drink to arrive since the bartender was skilled enough to multitask, watching as it slid towards his side, Taehyung's face already scrunching once his brain remembered how strong the drink was, but he didn't care, his subconscious didn't care.

Without hesitation he chugged the drink down, feeling himself get lost as the intoxicating substance spread through his being.

However, he wasn't here for the drinks only. His heart hoped, hoped for a damn miracle, hoped for a second chance.
