Chapter 1 A Very Late Summon

It has been a month since the battle with Glass and her companions. Naofumi, Raphtalia, Filo, and their new companion Rishia Ivyred have settled down in Naofumi's newly found domain and life became stable. The other heroes would drop in and out to check out what's new to Naofumi's little flourishing town and sometimes asking to see if there is anything that needs to be done. Little did they know that they were about to get quite the big surprise.

Deep in the Melromarc castle in the room where the four Cardinal Heroes were summoned via ritual, the summon marks created from when they were summoned, started to glow without any of the guards realizing it. At some point the glowing ritual marks started to fade back to normal and summoned you.
You didn't know what happened to you or where you were. You then looked down and saw that your hands had gauntlets that looked really powerful and they were the coolest things that you have ever seen.(just imagine the coolest look or style of the gauntlets)
So after looking through the hologram console(thing) you realize that your in a game like place but your actually living in it. You then realize it's about time to ask for some help and information on where you have landed.
You walk through the doorway.

Y/N: Hey is anybody there?!

A guard comes running down the spiral stair case.

Guard 1: Halt! Who are you, and why are you here?!
Y/N: I don't know why I'm here. I guess I somehow got teleported here. Could you help me please?
Guard 1: Hmm, so you say you were summoned here?
Y/N: Ya I believe I did get summoned.
Guard 1: Then follow me. I shall get you a room until her highness gets back.
Y/N: Thank you, sir... wait?! Her highness? I'm in a castle?!
Guard 1: Yes you are. And her highness should be back today.
Y/N: Ok, sure, but should I get some better clothes for meeting her?
Guard 1: Don't worry about that just yet. You can talk to her highness in the wear you have. We'll get you new ones after if she commands it.
Y/N: Ok then, I guess that works.

After the guard toke you to the room he set up for you. You just waited there doing push-ups and other stuff because you have an idea on how you will fight monsters or people just so you can pass the time a little bit.

-an hour later-

Guard 1: (knocks on the door) Um sir, the queen is waiting for you, so please come along with me.
Y/N: Ok got it.

You follow the Guard to the queen where she is waiting for you. You arrive at the spot where the queen is waiting for you.

???: Hello sir, Gauntlet Hero. My name is Mirellia Q Melromarc, it is a pleasure to meet you.
Y/N: Likewise and name is Y/N L/N. So where exactly am I?
Mirellia: You were summoned in a country called Melromarc.

She then continues talking to bring you up to speed on the worlds situation and catastrophic disaster attacks called waves and she talks about the four other heroes and what they have done and their achievements that they have accomplished.

Y/N: Ok, I think I understand. Thank you for telling me and bringing me up to speed.
Mirellia: No, the pleasure is all mine. Now go out there and get stronger so you can fight the waves with the other heroes. I'll send a letter to them letting them know that a new hero has been summoned somehow and that your on our side. Does that sound good?
Y/N: Ya thx, it'll help to know that I won't get into a fight with them because that would be bad if we were all divided during the battles.
Mirellia: Well said but that's going to be pretty hard.
Y/N: What do you mean?
Mirellia: Well, I think it's best if you find out the reason why yourself. I won't give you every answer.

After you left she then started on the four letters to send to the four heroes so they know what has happened.
