"What's going on?" You ask Katsuki after he came down from the peak.He merely grunts and keeps walking towards our cave. You follow behind him, trying to get him to talk.
"Katsuki?"
He just keeps walking.
"My love?"
No response.
Why, this little piece of -.
"KATSUKI! YOU OAF! TALK TO ME D*** IT!"
The blonde finally stopped walking, but only to grab you by the forearms and slam you against the wall. You hadn't even noticed that you both had made it to the cave entrance.
Shocked (E/c) met firey red as he stared into you.
"I don't know ok! I don't know what's going on. As far as I know, the dragons are sensing something in the the air and so are you. Or else you wouldn't be bugging the sh** out of me about it. You're half dragon. You tell me what's going on!" He spat at you, clearly upset.
Now, anyone else would have been pissed or even afraid of him after that, but you knew him better than anyone.
He was scared.
Scared about not knowing.
Scared that something was happening to the dragons. To his best friend, Kirishima, and to you, the love of his life. Something that was out of his control.
You look at your beau with sympathy in your eyes and wrap your arms around his neck in a comforting hug.
"I'm not sure, Katsuki. I smell something evil in the air, but I can't tell what. I've never experienced anything like this before, so we're in the same situation. But whatever it is... We will get through it, together." You tell him, bringing a hand to his cheek.
You touch foreheads as a sign of affection, before you lean in and give him a comforting kiss.
Obviously, this is what he needed as he deepened the kiss and brought a hand to the small of your back, pushing the two of you closer.
His other hand traveled to your waist, as yours went to his hair. Slightly pulling on it, you receive a small growl and smile. Gets him every time.
Katsuki grabbed your leg and pulled it to his hip. He lightly grabbed your hair and pulled your head to the side. This allowed him better access to your neck. You sigh in content, before -
"WOAH-HO!! SHIELD YOUR EYES KIDS, SHIELD YOUR EYES!"
You opened you eyes to see Kirishima, a few feet behind Katsuki, with his tail blocking the sight of two hatchlings on his shoulder and his hand shielding the one's in his arms. His own eyes also closed.
You giggle as Katsuki growls lowly in irritation. "What are you doing here, Sh**ty Hair?"
The red head chuckles nervously, "well I came to find out where you two ran off too, but I can see your busy so I'll just be leaving. Bye!" Kirishima turns away hesitantly.
Oh, come on. Obviously he needed something. You untangle yourself from your beau, smiling slightly at the small whine that escaped him. Not that he'd ever admit that. Ever.
"Kiri wait! What did you need?"
He turned around and, when he saw you NOT about to do un-pure things with his best friend, he let out a relieved sigh.
"Well... After you guys left, I talked to the dragons. They said they feel something bad coming. They're all a bit on edge right now. I just wanted to check in with you guys to see what the plan was." Kiri explained, glancing over at Katsuki.
The blonde 'tch'ed and crossed his arms, not wanting to show that he had no plan. You rolled your eyes at the tempered man and sighed.
"For now the plan is to keep an eye on the dragons. They're our main priority. Until we can find out what's going on, we can't really do anything." Katsuki came up beside you and wrapped an arm around your waist.
"Right now they're all gathered in the main valley, should we keep them their?" The red-head asked, as the hatchlings on his shoulders jumped onto your's and Katsuki's. You pet the dragon's head while the blonde gave an affirmative grunt.
Eijirou nodded and flew off to try and keep the dragons in check.
The man next to sighed, staring after his best friend with a spaced out look. "Are you alright Katsuki?" You ask, putting a hand on his cheek.
He clicked his tongue, "I'm fine. Quit worrying about me so much. I'm not a child anymore." He stated walking towards the cave.
You giggled and quietly spoke to yourself, following him, "I know. But old habits die hard."
*In another part of the land*
A young girl sat in her house, examining the books laid out in front of her. She kept glancing between the pages and the open window. Outside her home, the atmosphere was filled with a mist invisible to the human eye. The only way she saw it was because she was not fully human.
She scanned the text as fast as she could, looking for words that described what she was seeing. She had been looking in her parents books for the better part of three hours trying to solve this mystery. Finally, she came to the back of her current book, a section she had never read before.
Curses of the Ancient Warlocks
The girl had always been afraid to read this section of the book for fear that she would accidentally preform it, instead of whatever else she was practicing. But now was not the time for fear. There was a dark mist outside that was affecting something badly, she just had to figure out what -
Her eyes widened when she read over the text again to make sure it was true.
"Oh no." She mumbled worry and terror etched on her face, before running out as fast as her legs would carry her towards help.
"IZUKU!!!!"
