Chapter 23 - Batman And Joker

Eleanor’s P.O.V

I got up and quickly threw on my uniform. I put on my eyeliner and did my hair before quietly going down stairs, grabbing my bag and running to Soph’s.

“Hey!” I said as I walked through the door. Sophie, Harlow and Danny were sat in the kitchen waiting for toast.

“Hey!” Soph said as she walked to the cupboard. “I put you some toast in, I knew you wouldn’t be long.”

“thanks!” I said as I sat down.

“soooo. We missed a week of school. What’s our excuse?” Harlow asked.

“I dunno.” I said, “I’ll ask ash.”

I pulled out my phone. They left about three hours ago and there still flying right now which means hell probably still be awake…

I pulled out my phone and texted him.

E; heyyy ashy ^u^

A; heyyy elea ^-^

E; what did you tell school we were off ill with?

A; tonsillitis :3 why?

E; okay thanks :D I needed to know incase they ask us.

A; okay :D well, im going to sleep now 9-9 night… well, morning ^_^ text me when you get home :) I love you

E; I love you too

 

“he said we had tonsillitis.” Danny said as he looked over my shoulder.

“okay.” Harlow said as the front door. “you hear that? He sead we have TONSILLITIS okay?” the others nodded.

“hear what?” joey asked as he walked through the door.

“aaah! Nice of you to join us!” dan said as he spun around on his chair.

“yeah sorry, I overslept. Now, what did everybody hear?” joe asked.

“if a teacher asks you where you’ve been all last week say you had tonsillitis okay?” I said.

“mmhmm!”

We ate our foods and then we set off. It was starting to get lighter as we walked down the main road towards school.

We got in from school and we threw our bags on the floor of the hallway. We walked up to sophies bedroom and sat down. I had a headache .-. .

“anyway, misses.” I said as I poked harlow on the arm, you were going to tell me about andy.” I said.

“yesssssss ohmyjinxx.” She said.

Harlow’s P.O.V

“okay, so~ *flashback*

Me and andy were sat underneath the fairylights on the bus eating chips and discussing batman and telling batman related jokes. We ended up playing batman and joker which is really just a thing we made up on the spot. Its just tig with two people. Joker is on first and if he catches batman then batman becomes joker and vice versa. We were playing motley crue at the time, one of our favourite bands.

We were chasing each other around on the grass like complete morons, laughing and tripping up over loose branches and falling in mud, but I didn’t mind getting muddy.

I finally caught up with andy and tug him. I started to run down the field. I tripped up over another twig and landed on my ass. Andy was running towards me but I couldn’t get up for laughing. He ran up to me and pinned me to the ground.

“I got ya!” He growled

“damn” I whispered.

“hey, harlow. I know I haven’t known you for too long but, will you be my batwoman?” he asked as he stared into my eyes.

“yes Andrew.” I smiled as he kissed me, his freezing cold lip ring pushing into my lip.

“I love you.” He whispered.

“I love you too” I giggled as I flipped us over. “catch me if you can!” I ran back inside the bus and threw myself onto the his bunk and hid under a blanket. I heard footsteps outside and then the curtains opened.

“oh, I wonder where harlow is! I can’t see her anywhere!” he laughed.

He pulled the blanket off me and picked me up before he carried me to the seetee and laid me down and sitting next to me.

*end of flashback*

“aaaah! That’s so cute!” Eleanor laughed.
