Damon fucking walker. Why could he be like everyone else? He often complained to his bandmates about being different. They were getting sick of the whining, because they all lived in one house, well more so apartment together. But they did see his point. After all, the man was 22 and was beginning to quickly get bored of the "single life" he currently obtained. And so far the man had only one ex-girlfriend. And in his opinion, she was a snobby little brat. Yeah, she used to be the girl he craved. The one he loved. But she changed. What was one the cute, smiley, petty little angel turned into a beast of an unloving money-hungry nature. His girlfriend changed, when he was in high school still, she hung out with him less and less. At first, he was scared he had done something to upset her. But it was so out of character for her, he knew something deeper was lurking. And sure enough, he was right. Videos were leaked. Voices were raised. Curses were exchanged. As the heartbreaking words of "I have someone else and he's got more money than you" pounded into his heart. His poor, fragile, high school heart. Shattered. Of course, he wasn't rich back then, or famous. He was training really hard to become a singer. And maybe the breakup helped him succeed. It gave him lyrics, it gave him power and it gave his tunes life and meaning. It gave them emotion.
Soon after he became recognised by others around him, his management put him and his bandmates into many different places to get better at what they did, mostly singing or dancing, occasionally rapping was involved. The practice hours were long and tedious but totally worth the looks of the fans faces. He and his entire band loved his fans. But, well, he couldn't help but notice, they loved and knew his talent well, but him as a person they knew practically nothing about.
So at that point, he managed to persuade his management into letting them do meetups, talk shows, live streaming from time to time. And of course his favourite thing, Instagram chats. In the Instagram chats the management had arranged, it allowed the idols to be able to fully interact with their fans without them knowing it was them. And, although you may be thinking this is rather pointless, sometimes all people needed was talking to, or someone to listen to them and they would be cheered up almost instantly.
Of course, he never truly believed in love, well not after his ex anyway. He couldn't help but cringe at how typical that had always sounded. His friends and bandmates had convinced him hundreds of times that "This is for the best" but he just couldn't help but want someone to hold at night. He realized it would be difficult for a girl to cope with him being away for months at a time but if the love is there there is always hope.
Clearly, word of his fame had reached his ex, rather quickly at that, for she had returned to him, claiming everything was better now, she had just needed time and that she would happily move back in with him. "Yeah, right." That's what he had thought at the time. "What a load of crap," Of course, he never said that to HER, more so to his management when they claimed she had been ringing them nonstop for several hours and they were beginning to get sick of it.
And obviously, when his fan base heard about him looking for a girlfriend, because word gets out, he didn't know how to react to their constant flirting during meet ups, their fan accounts, and don't even mention the fan fictions. Because he did NOT want to talk about those.
But maybe this next concert would be different maybe someone would finally tame Damon Walker.
