Also, there is a mention of a picture being taking in the frozen section of the grocery store, it is not meant to be the one I'm using for the cover since he is in a Christmas sweater in that one and in this story he is in a Halloween sweater. Why the fuck did I just address that, my god.

Prompt: You and Matthew go to the grocery store one saturday night since he is out of ice cream and of course if he doesn't get his saturday pint he is messed up for the whole next week. But at the grocery store, your childhood crush is there (ex-crush duh,) and your crush is like let's hang or something and you obviously dodge that shit. Then back at home your ex-crush dm's you on instagram and Matthew gets angry. (part two is the aftermath so its some smut haha)

Some meanings for the slash words: Y/L/N is your last name, Y/F/A means your favorite actor, Y/C/N is your ex crushes name (I kept their gender non-binary for all of it)

"Y/n, Y/n, Y/n!" Matthew runs into the living room waking you from your sleep.

"What." You groan as he kneels down in front of the couch. When you don't open your eyes he holds your nose causing you to open your eyes instantly, "Matthew." You laugh at him and he smiles.

"We are out of ice cream, we need to go to the grocery store ASAP!" Matthew is yelling at you like a child.

"Can you give me five minutes to get changed?" Matthew scoffs jokingly, "Fine princess."

"Please stop..and I am just putting pants on, not a ball gown ." You say getting up from the couch. "Well, maybe a ball gown would be a good choice." Matthew yells to you as you begin walking up the steps. "In your dreams babe." You yell back down to him.

Five Minutes Later

"Let's hit the road jack." You jump from the last step seeing Matthew standing at the door, "We are practically wearing the same outfit." Matthew laughs at you, causing you to look at each other's outfits. An oversized Halloween sweater with a pair of black pants and converse. "I was wearing this sweater all day, so you copied me." Matthew looks at you confused and you both begin walking to the car. "But you just got dressed." You laugh, "And you got dressed after me this morning so..you're the copier." Matthew laughs at you while getting into the car.

Once you make it to the grocery store it is empty, and I mean empty. Your car is probably one out of five in the entire parking lot,

"Wow, this place is jumping." You say and Matthew smiles at you,

"I know maybe we should've brought our rave outfits." You laugh and Matthew skips in the air.

"I am not chasing you in this parking lot." Matthew smirks at you and begins dancing in the parking lot. "Yeah, I'm also not having a dance battle in this parking lot." You laugh at him and he runs to you making you giggle.

You two finally enter the store and begin walking towards the frozen section, you cut through the magazine aisle. Matthew is holding your hand while walking in front of you, you are looking at the magazines causing Matthew to pull on your hand, "C' mon my little reader." You laugh, "Wait, I wanna see if that magazine with y/f/a is here." Matthew watches you move your eyes in search of the magazine, "Damn, yet again not here." Matthew smiles at you, "Might be upfront."
