This is bad.

Very bad.

Out of all the people living in that town, they were the ones who just had to see me?

I'll just fly higher.

It's not like I matter to them anymore.

I've changed.

I'm a stranger to them.

I'm not the same, carefree person I was back then.

I flew higher, hoping they would just walk off, forgetting about me.

But, they didn't.

I looked back down, and they were still there, staring up at me with sadness reflecting off their eyes.

Flara clasped her hands together, and from the looks of it, started to mumble.

I looked back down, a golden shimmer reflecting off her eyes. She had tears in her eyes now as she pointed towards me, a beam of light coming from her arm and towards me.

"Miss Y/N! Watch out!" Aqua said, appearing beside me, holding a water shield in front of us.

I was stunned. I didn't know what to do except stare back down at them.

Why didn't I move? Why didn't I try to dodge that attack? Why did I just sit there and let it almost hit me?

The other 3 spirits appeared around me, protecting me.

"Lady Y/N, are you okay?" both Electro and Wind asked.

"I-I'm fine," I mumbled.

"That was dangerous and life-threatening! Why didn't you dodge that?!" Blaze scolded.

"I-I... I don't know..."

Tears formed in my eyes, blurring my vision.

I felt something go underneath my feet, lifting me.

"Don't cry. We'll protect you," Wind said, gritting his teeth as he glared down at them.

Jiho raised the sniper rifle to aim towards us, pulling the trigger.

I see.

This is their betrayal.

If that's how they want to play, then be my guest.

If they inflict pain on me or my spirits, I'll return the pain tenfold.

I won't show mercy.

I stood up, grabbing my sword and enhancing it with Aileen's magic and the spirits' magic, making it stronger and more damaging.

"Aqua," I said.

"Got it."

Aqua nodded and stopped the bullet with a large water shield.

"Blaze, Electro, and Wind."

"Yes ma'am," they all said.

Blaze fired a large beam of fire towards them, Electro shot a paralyzing ray at each person, and Wind surrounded them in a small area of wind, making them unable to escape.

I flew down, stopping in front of them, emotionless.

My spirits stood next to me, some smirking, some glaring.

"You've finally decided to kill me. I already knew I was a threat to the world, but I don't care anymore. I'll make this world into my own, and no one can stop me," my voice said, but I didn't say it.

Aileen, shut up.

It's not me who's talking.

Realizing what I said, I looked away, Electro stepping in front of me to finish.

"Betrayal. In the end, our masters always get betrayed. This time, it was by Lady Y/N's closest friends who she considers family," Electro spat.

"Considers family? If so, why did she leave us? She never thought about how we must've felt at all. It was all revolved around her," Flara cursed.

"Shut the hell up! As if you knew anything about Miss Y/N! As we watched over her, we saw she cared so deeply for you all, but you just threw it all aside as if it were trash!" Blaze shouted.

"Now, I know who you are. You are Aileen's successor. It was all a lie, wasn't it?" Riku asked, a sinister look in his eyes.

I looked back over at them with the hardest glare, a smile on my lips.

"No, none of it was a lie. I trusted you all, but look where we are now. Strangers once again. But, this time is worst, as I am now your enemy," I chuckled, my eyes glowing black to intimidate them.

Why? Why am I saying this?

"Lady Y/N, shall we go now?" Wind asked.

"No, not until I do something first," I replied.

I walked into the wind surrounding them, placing a water shield around me in case they tried to attack me.

I smirked at them, slightly chuckling to myself.

"You know, I really want to kill you all right here, but that would cause such a large mess. I'll just leave you with a reminder," I paused as I walked towards them.

"I am in control. Soon, this world will be mine. Queen Y/N. It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" I asked, my eyes growing darker.

I took my sword and pointed it at them.

"You aren't the same. You aren't Y/N," Rika muttered, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Oh save it, Haruno. I changed the moment I left this depressing town. Sure, when I left, I still cared and loved you guys, but now, those feelings are long gone. I'll take the throne from Artemis. I'll rule over this world as the strongest. Just watch," I said and left, not before smirking one last time.

"Wind, release the barrier. Electro, make sure they are not paralyzed anymore," I commanded.

I jumped up into the air using my wings.

Flying above the clouds, I looked down one last time, my expression softening a bit.

If I wasn't the one who said that, then who was?
