Chapter 3

HAYES POV

"Who were you talking to Hayes?" Nash says.

"Kat."

" You like her man. I can tell." Nash nags to me.

" A little but I don't know yet..."

I see Kat out of the corner of my eye coming towards me and starts to sit down.

"Who are you?" Nash says.

"I'm Kat, Hayes friend and you?" Kat says

" I'm Hayes's older brother Nash."

" Nash, this is Tori my best friend." Kat says.

During lunch we all get to know each other. I like Kat the best she's so perfect and has a great personality. I think I might actually be falling for her. Oh, I would do anything for her to be mine. But she probably already has a boyfriend.

After lunch was English. As I was walking to class someone pushed me up against the wall.

" Listen buddy, next time I see you talking to Kat Imma rip your head off." Says a big buff guy who looks like he's on the wrestling team.

"I'm sorry." I said. I wasn't trying to get into trouble on my first day of school. When I walked into English class I was heart broken. I knew she already had a boyfriend.

Kat tells me to sit next to her and I ignore her and sit next to Toby who was in history with me.

KAT'S POV

I was trying to let Hayes sit besides me, but he ignored me. Did I do something? Then I remember something that I saw at lunch...

*flash back to 10 minutes ago*

We were all siting and laughing and I was looking into Hayes beautiful eyes. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sam my ex boyfriend. He looked angry at me.

*end of flash back*

Oh no Sam probably said something to Hayes! I have to talk to Hayes to find out.

After class I follow Hayes to his locker.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask.

"Sure" Hayes says with his head down.

"Did Sam say something to you?"

"Who's Sam?" he says unsure of.

"Really buff guy, brown Flippy hair, and kinda looks like her takes steroids."

"Oh and maybe, why?"

"Hayes I just wanted to tell you we aren't dating. he still thinks we are but I told him a million times we're not. He basically got all the guys in the school to stop talking me." I say with my eyes watering.

"Awe don't cry Kat. he told me not to talk to you or he'll rip my head off. But he can't stop me."

I absolutely love this boy right now...

Next thing I know me and Hayes kissed in the hallway. Then, I see Sam coming towards us from the corner of my eye.

Sam throw Hayes to the ground and starts punching him. Hayes tries to get away but he can't. I started crying and everyone is looking at me. Nash finally comes over here and solves everything. He punches Sam and he falls to the ground knocked out.

I fall to the ground to see if Hayes is okay.

"Ouch!" Hayes screams as we're taking him to the nurses office. The nurse ask us what happened.

" Mrs. Bell, Sam attacked Hayes and started to punch him because he was talking to me."

" He still likes you doesn't he?"

"Yes ma'am, but is Hayes going to be okay?"

"Yeah he will, but he'll be out for a couple of days because he can't move."

"Yes ma'am thank you so much, Hayes I'll come by your house after school okay?"

"Okay." he smiles at me.
