Episode 8: Happy Birthday, Yoda!

[At Café Universe: 1:30 pm]

"Chaeyoung-ah, you know how to bake and decor a cake, right?" Minseok suddenly asks Chaeyoung who is mopping the floor

"Ne oppa! Do you want to sell cake tomorrow?" Chaeyoung pauses her mopping the floor and looks at Minseok

"So, can you stay a little overtime today?" Minseok smiles with his cat eyes ^^

[7:30 pm]

A tall guy with familiar gestures walks towards Minseok's café but suddenly stops by the door...

"Eh! He asked me to come but the shop is already closed." He looks at his silver watch on his left waist "I'm not late either... Usually, Minseok Hyung closes by 8 pm, so he closed early today? Oh Sehun, where are you too?" He mumbles to himself but decides to push the door and it is pushable!!! "Eh! Did Minseok Hyung forget to pay the bill so they cut his electricity?"

Suddenly...

"Saeng il chuk ha ham ni da - saeng il chuk ha ham ni da - sarang ha neun Chanyeollie - saeng il chuk ha ham ni da!!!" A beautiful happy-birthday song is sung by people and a girl with long dark hair holds the cake with candle taking lead toward this giant and stops in front of him

"Omo!!!!!! Wahhhhh!!!" Chanyeol has no word but exclamation only

"Hurry make a wish and blow the candle. I want to eat the cake already." It's a male's voice behind Chaeyoung who is holding the cake; it's Sehun's. Chanyeol closes his eyes and then blows the candle so that the crowd cheer and make some noise... The light is back...

"Wah! When did you guys plan this?" Chanyeol looks at everyone's face and all laugh

"Jihyo! She regretted that she took your mum on the trip with her and forgot about your birthday so she asked me if I'm free. Thankfully, our Chaeyoungie is here and helped me to make all this happen!"

"I heard from Baek that you and Sehun are friend and Sehun is his cousin so I asked for their helps too. Sehun proposed how he asked you to meet him here so that you came later. I'm afraid you'll be lonely with just few people so I called all my friends here too." Chaeyoung moves her index finger pointing at Baekhyun, Jisoo and Junmyeon. They all wave at Chanyeol with smiles...

"Wah! Suddenly, I feel so old since I'm the eldest here." Minseok puts his hand on his chest pretending that it hurts him so they all chock at his joke

"But you look the youngest here, hyung! To be honest!" Baekhyun says with his laugh and they also laugh and agree that Minseok looks the youngest while he is the eldest here

"You know that our Chaeyoungie bakes this cake herself?" Minseok adds on that makes Chanyeol smiles ear to ear in front of his cake as he knows that Chaeyoung made him that

"Gomabweo, Chaeyoung-ah!" Chanyeol looks at Chaeyoung's face with a smile revealing his dimple and Chaeyoung winks and smiles back to him "But why Yoda?" Chanyeol asks and looks at Chaeyoung's face again while she is holding her laugh

"It's Sehun who asked me to do that." Chaeyoung shakes her head to prove that it was not her idea

"Because you look like one! Your ear particularly." Sehun points at Chanyeol's ear so they all laugh out loud while Chanyeol is pouting

"Gaja! Let's go and eat! I'm hungry already." Minseok calls everyone to go to the table to eat before their foods getting cold.

Minseok video calls to Jihyo and her mum to talk to Chanyeol. They wish him on his birthday and says sorry that they forgot and went to a trip just two of them. Chanyeol doesn't mind since he is very happy right not already. Besides, they all really go along well together! It's just the first meet of Chanyeol and Chaeyoung's friends but they already become close. Sehun is the most funny and stupid one, Baekhyun is the loudest one, while Junmyeon gets lame jokes that everyone finds he's funny because he tries to tell his daddy jokes. Therefore, this is a very fun party because it is full of laugh and joy!

The party ended so they all start to say goodbye to each other...

"Gamsahamnida Hyung for today." Chanyeol says to Minseok by his café door. They are all by the door after cleaning up his shop and now going back home

"Anytime, Chanyeol-ah! Saeng il chukha-ae!" Minseok taps Chanyeol's shoulder and Chanyeol give a little bow to his Hyung as thank you again

"Jun-ah! Can you take Jisoo home?" Chaeyoung talks to Junmyeon standing next to her

"Sure! How about you?" Junmyeon ask her back if she goes home alone

"It's okay! My home is nearby anyway but hers and yours are not."

"Ah! It's almost 10 already and it's not safe for you to walk home alone."

"I'm going with her. We live in a neighborhood by the way!" Chanyeol interrupts their conversation by saying that he will protect her home. Chaeyoung looks at Chanyeol a bit and looks at Junmyeon to give a nod as a confirmation that it is all set now

"So I'm going then!" Junmyeon waves at her as a goodbye

"Take care Chaeng-ah! Leave a text in our group when you get home." Jisoo waves before following Junmyeon

"Y'all too!" Chaeyoung waves at all of them and takes the opposite way while Chanyeol catches up with her.
