Reunion and Pleasantries

Getting out the car, my siblings and I looked at new house. It's not so bad. The place looked like you'd find it in a cartoon neighborhood.

"So, what do you think?" My mom asked in a singing tone.

"It looks awesome!" Said Everly. "Its okay..," Kim shrugged. "Its....decent." I slowly uttered.

"Nah, you'll be all over the place when you're done." My brother snickered.

I raised a brow,"what are you implying?"

"Look," he raised his arms in defense,"I'm just saying, at one point you'll be comfortable enough to go full on mayhem and bara-bing bara-boom: we're on the road aga-"

Before he finished that last syllable I yanked him by the collar of his shirt,"finish that sentence and I won't hesitate to beat you!" I threatened.

"-Hi!"

My family and I turned our heads and saw three teenagers. A tech-boy with a red cap and glasses, another boy that looked pretty average at first glance, and.....

"Sam?"

We saw as the girl was about to beat the living hell out of her brother when Sam interjected just in time.

"Hi!" She caught the family's attention.

"Sam?"

Wait, what? They know each other?? Now that the middle kid turned her head, I got a better look at her face. It was scarred! Like burned flesh. In all honesty, it made her look like a badass. But, probably shouldn't ask about it.

"Hold on. (Name)?"

There was a small pause of silence as they stared at one another. Out of nowhere, they point at each other and shout,

"You're a FREAK!"

They start laughing uncontrollably. The parents and the brother were smiling while the younger sister, Tucker, and I were mildly confused. The girls hugged each other tightly before pulling away.

"Its so great to see you again, Black Sleep!" Said, who I'm guessing is, (Name).

"Same here, you Black Panther!" Replied Sam.

"You sure went through a drastic change."

"Could say the same for you. Since when do you wear finger less gloves? And is that eyeliner?"

"Hey, hey, hey, don't go questioning my new style. I never took you for the makeup type either." They laughed.

"Ahem.." I 'coughed'. "Mind explaining?"

Sam and (Name) both told us their background story and how Sam moved to Amity Park, leaving her first best friend. Sam then volunteered us to help bring in their stuff to their new home. They gladly accepted the offer.

After we finished, we sat in their living room, completely exhausted. They said that we were done for today and that their furniture would arrive the next two days.

"Anybody want water?" The mom offered.

"Yes please." We all replied.

"Let me get them, Ma" the older brother insisted and brought back some water bottles for each of us.

"Oh!" (Name) face palmed. "We didn't introduce ourselves properly."

We then started to pass around our names. The parents were, Rachel and Elias. The older brother was, Kimberly, but preferred Kim. And finally, the younger sister was Everly. Tucker and I then introduced ourselves.

"So, where are you going for school?" Tucker asked the younger sisters.

They both rolled their eyes, "Washington Middle.","Casper High."

"Oh cool, you'll be attending school with us, (Name)." Sam smiled.

"Oh, sweet."

The time came for my friends and I to leave and we said our goodbyes to the family. One by one we shook hands until I got to (Name). Her hands were freezing cold. I felt my ghost sense acting up and she shivered.

"W-w-who-o-oa!" She muttered in a shivering voice. "Whoo, gosh..that was some chill, hehe. Must be getting colder by the week!"

We let go of each other's hands and I exit through the door.

"That was weird.."

"What was weird?"

"I'll tell you guys tomorrow..."
