The alarm was chiming calling me out from my sleep, 4:30 am the exact time I woke up every morning except for weekends of course.
Taking my bath, I took my files with one last look I drove off in my Ferrari.
As always I greet almost everyone I see before stepping in my office...
"Good morning bride to be"
"Good morning to you too George, what do I do today?"
George is my assistant, well he had been for the past two years and I tell you, he's efficient...
I was the new bride to be, and hella yes I was nervous and stressed, i was finally taking off leave today ..I wouldn't say I'm excited but I am, I mean I'M GETTING MARRIED!!
"Actually nothing really, butt, I can tell you those after your sweet honeyed wedding " he said almost blowing the gum to a stretch point I was afraid will pop and stick all over his face. George is not gay, he's just in the "girl's group" more girlish than I could ever be..I guess that makes him the best!
"No thanks, I don't want to stress on anything work during my big day" I said taking a glance at previous cases I had handled. Taking one last glance at it I handed the folder to George seeing everything was good for at least till I was back.
"I guess there's nothing to do?" I said looking up at my assistant
"Yep, you have tea with the girls in 30 mins, if I may remind you"
"Off course do remind me" George just rolled his eyes like a normal thing. Taking my bag I left to meet my best friends.
Mia and Mary
We were best friends in college till date and surprisingly or not our husbands were best friends. Okay well husband to be-for me. It was initially Mia and Mary dating one of the two gorgeous guys in Maryland. In our third year in college Harry thus my finance joined the guys, well they we practically sharing a room which led to my friends turning cupid .
At the initial point I was literally not in support, I mean I wanted nothing more than to do well in my grades!, no distraction or whatsoever.
Until I agreed to go with them on a double date, in my defense I didn't know it was a date..
Mia said she wanted me to escort her have lunch! And she promised to pay so..
Long story short i found Mary and Clark,James and Harry already seated waiting for us.
The girls were already at the table laughing at God knows what.
"Heya! What you guys doing?"
"My baby girl" Mia said showing her perfect white teeth
"Kiddo" Mary responded
"Hi to you too Mary, so when do we place our orders?" I said talking a seat opposite Mary.
"Waiter!" Mia waved at the fine gentleman already taking out his notepad heading to our direction.
"Hi, ladies..what can I get you?" He said smiling down at me.. I was flattered honestly.
"Coffee with a lot of cream, for three please "
Yes we had sweet tooth
"Sure, coming up" he said smiling down at me before leaving
"Someone's got a little crush on the bride to be!" Mary said grinning
"Ah please spare him the race ,the dress is almost ready !!"
They both literally squealed "you look ridiculous right now" I said admist laughter . Taking out my iPad I showed them their bridesmaids dress, it was a sliver silver purple twel silk dress
"Omg,!, leah you killed it!!! Damn where'd you get these designs, ???" Mia asked drooling , Mary just sat still eyes on the iPad till I saw the tears in her eyes
