His words repeated in my mind.

Good work Victoria, now let us have the recruit.

"What?" I blurted. I stared at Victoria, who just smiled.

"Welcome to the Infinity Leauge." she said, going to stand by Max. "Mission Accomplished sir."

"Good job Victoria. We've got another one coming, so you better get prepared."

"Yes sir." Victoria gave me a small smile, and stalked off into the direction we just came in.

"Now, if you'll excuse us." The guards nodded, and ran off into several directions.

After a minute or two of a staredown, I finally broke the silence.

"What was that for?" I was madish, but mostly annoyed.

"A test. Surprisingly, your the only one who agreed to go with Victoria."

"You mean no one else tried to escape?" I was slightly shocked.

"The kids your age end up killing themselves before we can even get to that point. Everyone else just follows orders." He smirked. "They are all obedient, and don't want themselves beaten."

"Shut up I'm hungry." I stated. Max's facial expression didn't change.

"Fine, but less food because of your actions."

"Fine." Max started walking off into the direction I had come in. I took a deep breath, and silently followed him into the darkness.

"What is this?" I asked, chewing on the food that Jaden had placed in front of me. He had already eaten, and was apparently on the whole "Victoria" plan. He sat across from me in the booth, waiting for me to eat my food.

"Its called a panini. I had it  on a mission, and its the only thing I know how to make, since the kitchen is out for the night." I had no drink, no specialties, just a small hot panini. "Try it, its good." I gave him a wary glance, and looked back down at my food. It was the closeset thing I could get to food.

"No." I said, pushing it away from me, making the stupid decision at the last minute. My mind screamed at me to accept the food and eat it, but I didn't want to be fed by those idiots. "Its not that I won't like it, but I'm not going to eat it." I seached his face for a hurt reaction, but me gave me a smile and took the bowl.

"Fine, more for me." He shoved half of it in his mouth, causing my mouth to hand open slightly.

"What? I'm hungry." He whinned as he slowly ate the rest of the food. I laughed as he finished his food within five minutes.

"I guess you were really hungry." I sighed, my stomach rumbling quietly. Luckily Jaden didn't catch it.

"Yeah. Max has been ordering them to give the worst food ever this week." he took a napkin from the holder and wiped his mouth.

"Why didn't you just make your own food?" He had just made me a sandwich, so why couldn't he have done that every day?

"Its Sunday, and they get the night off. Otherwise someone is always there 24/7. I had to sneak into their pantry to get the food. Sooner or later they'll realize that its gone, but they wont do anything about it." Jaden stood and climbed out of the booth, me following him out. He walked across the cafeteria filled with identical tables- metal tables with two chairs on either side, a napkin box in the center with a pepper and salt shakers on either side. Booths were lined up against the walls- red cushions placed against the white walls seperating each booth. Lights on the ceiling were bright, giving me a headache. What surprised me the most was the whole room was practically black, red and white.
