His Muse

Prologue

"Just leave me alone you idiots!" EJ yells at Ben and Jeff who both sigh before walking away from the masked boy.

EJ gets up from his place on the couch and walks out of the mansion to the forest. He passes rake who's running away from the direction of the lake.

 "Rake? What's wr-" EJ starts to say but rake runs past him quickly, almost knocking the boy off his feet. He steadies himself against a tree. He looks in the direction of the lake, whilst drawing his knife he walks towards it.

 After a while he starts to hear singing. Being the most beautiful thing he's ever heard, he starts to walk faster as he's lured towards the lake. Stepping out of the trees, he sees a beautiful girl sitting at the edge of the water(turned away from him) petting smile dog. "Smiles?" EJ says confused until the girl looks back at him with violet eyes. Smiles whimpers then quickly runs off as he realized what she did to him.(no she didn't hurt him)

"W-who are y-you..?" EJ stutters as he removes his mask to look at her better.

"No one important to anyone." She says with ice in her sweet voice as she stands up to look at him. He notices a bloody knife in her hand. "Have you ever heard of the tales of mermaids luring sailors off their ship?" She asks.

He nods and gulps, fear entering his mind as she brushes a hand along his cheek. She leans in close to his ear and whispers "Call me siren." Giving him chills up his spine.

Backstory

Serena Heart was a kind, beautiful young girl who lived music and the arts. She always wanted to become a famous actress. At age 15 she had her shot. 

She auditioned for a role in a new big time movie with big time actors. She was always bright and bubbly until one day, the director called her into his office. He locked the door behind her and then proceeded to get her drunk and rape her. He threatened to kill her if she told anyone. 

Every night he would have her stay in his room, where he would do unspeakable things to her, until one night she had enough. On her way to his room one night, she was humming a soft tune, whilst concealing a dagger in her sweatshirt. He greeted her with a smirk, and she smiles brightly back, confusing the director for she never smiled at him.

 She locks the door and starts singing a slow, dark tune. "Hush now quiet now it's time to lay your sleepyhead, hush now quiet now it's time to go to bed.." repeated over and over again as she slaughters him. She sets his body up in a nice outfit and strings him up to the ceiling. She pulled out her camera and takes a few photos. Written on the wall in the mans blood are the words, "my first piece of art. Your next." 

And that was true.

 The first person to discover the body, ended up murdered a few nights later. When her parents started to get suspicious, she killed them too, the same words written on the wall. This theme continues until Serena is known as the Siren, luring men in with her sweet voice and kind eyes. When you hear her song.. you know that it's your time an no one can save you from your fate.

How Serena met EJ and the others is a story that takes place a few years later when Serena is 18.
