Held

I just want to be held

In utter content

Breaths exchanged by warm embrace

Love interchanged with strong arms

The fluttering of a heart

Serenity

The placid remembrance of solemnity

Steady heart beats

Beat as One

Steady hands

Hold together like stone

Warm fragrance of cologne

Mingled with peppermint

The feeling

To lessen it

The sadness

Embrace my protection

Of love

My shield that holds my heart

In its arms,

folding over

Escaping the alarms

Of evil an fear

Just soft enough to hear

"I love you"
