"3,2,1 DING!!" We yelled.
We were all ready to go get changed for our Halloween party. We rushed out of the class room so fast, we clogged the doorway.
"WHOA 7TH GRADE!!" Mrs. Petsch practically screamed. Everyone got quiet.
"There is no need to storm out of the door like a herd of wild elephants!" she explained to us, for the billionth time.
"Sorry" we said in unison.
"Now, if y'all can stay calm, you may walk down to the Parish Hall bathroom and change into your custom."
We all walked away from the door, but as soon as we were out of view, we ran as fast as we could over to the Parish Hall.
Once we got there, all the girls went into the bathroom to change into their Halloween customs. Me, Emily, and Katy were just about the only girls that didn't change because our customs were footie pjs, which we had worn all day because it was a pj day theme for res ribbon week.
"Let's go check out the party decorations!" said Katy.
"Ok!" Me and Emily said in unison.
About 5-10 minutes went by until everyone was out and ready.
"What the heck are you supposed to be?" asked Stacy, only the meanest girl in school.
"A sleepwalker." Emily chimed in.
Thank you Emily! I thought.
She must have gotten my unspoken message because she turned and smiled at me.
"Well at least I actually have a legit custom." she said.
"Yeah, it's a beautiful ape." I said. I was kinda proud of that one.
"It's a cottontail bunny," Stacy said. "and unlike yours, mine isn't something a 2 year old would wear."
Bite your tongue Jackie, maybe she'll go away. "Ok. I love two year olds."
Then Melanie, Jennifer, and Casey walked up to us, all in a group just chatting.
Stacy wasn't the leader of this group, she was just the mean one, Melanie was the leader of this group. Although she was the leader, she was somewhat nice, so I didn't have to bite my tongue around her so much.
"What's happnen'" Melanie asked Stacy. If only she only she knew, I thought.
"Just talking to Jackie," Stacy said. "about her costum."
"Cute!" Casey said.
"Thanks!" I said.
"Your the same as Emily and Katy!" said Jennifer.
"Ya." I said.
Before Stacy could say anything mean, we were called over by the teachers to start the party.
Halloween was so fun! and I always loved the parties.
