However, there was bigger news and pretty bad news. Because of Syd Barrett's state of mentality and his frequent Mental breakdowns from Psychedelic drugs, Syd leaves the band. He did his own solo work for some time, left his music career, and he later died in 2006 from Pancreatic Cancer. He is know forever known as the man who founded and created Pink Floyd.
