{1.5 Years Later}
Rain sprayed Carmen in the face as she ran to her car with Michael.
As they reached the car (((haha get it Car))) soaking wet. Carmen couldn't help but feel a flashback coming on.
That one day, 2 years ago when Allison, Carmen's best friend of 6 years, had encouraged her to meet and become friends with six of the greatest people she's ever known.
"I can't believe it's been two years." Carmen panted, turning to Michael and looking deep into his eyes.
"I guess you can say time makes a stronger." Michael said, his voice smooth and romantic.
"You punk rock kitten." Carmen laughed. "Why are you trying to be romantic right now? We just came out of Walmart."
"Well is it working?"
"Maybe."
"Then I'm not trying." Mike winked at the girl in front of him.
Carmen sighed, placing her lips on his and smiling through the kiss. His big plump lips felt soft on hers. But most importantly, they felt like they belonged there.
Carmen knew she belonged with Michael. She had felt it since the day she met him. She knew he was special. Carmen loved him more than pizza, and she hoped he loved her back.
They would go out regularly, and started thinking about moving in together. It seemed like a big step to take, but they felt it was right.
Carmen felt slightly awkward and uncomfortable at times. It hadn't been her first relationship, but it sure was the longest one.
Michael understood. Carmen had told him about her feelings and most of the time, Mike felt the same way.
They couldn't ask for anything more.
"Carmen?" Michael's Australian accent felt like music to her ears.
"Yeah?" Carmen replied, staring deep into the eyes of the adorable boy, adding to the romance of the moment.
Michael's heart raced. He had been waiting for this moment since the day he'd met her. He knew it was right.
"Will you marry me?"
Right there, in that small silver car in the parking lot of Walmart, both of their lives were changed together.
They would now be a part of each other's lives for eternity.
"Of course, you punk rock kitten."
