                                    Louis

I got up from my bed rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I looked over at my clock which read 7a.m., I had to be at work by 9. I groaned and dragged my feet across the plush carpet, opening the door to my walk-in closet, reaching for a suit. I didn't bother to look at the color seeing as all of them were practically the same. I pulled down my sweatpants, seeing as I slept with no shirt on, and let them pool at my ankles before I stepped out of them, the cold air hitting my skin hard making me slip on my suit in record speed. I walked over to the bathroom and checked out my hair, combing it with my fingers. I grabbed my toothbrush and spred toothpaste over it, bringing it to my mouth. Once I was done brushing my teeth, I smiled brightly in the mirror, checking for imperfections on my teeth and face as well. None, good. I opened up my bedside table displaying an array of necklaces and watches. I reached in the the black velvet case, opening it to reveal a Vacheron Tour De L'ile. I clasped it to my wrist then got in push up position to lower my self in order to gain access to the space under my bed. I reached under and pulled out my 'suitcase' that I always take to work. I got up and smoothed out my suit before checking my watch. 7:45a.m. Good, still have plenty of time. Yes, I do realize it was early but I had intended to stop by the flower shop (as I did 4 times a week every week) to get my beautiful receptionist some fresh roses. I opened up my closet once more and gathered my suit shoes before opening a drawer and retrieving some socks. Slipping them on quickly, I gathered my phone, keys, sunglasses, and 'suitcase' and opened the door to my room instantly taking in a breath smelling the wonderful smell of pancakes, sausages, and coffee being made. Shit, I already brushed my teeth. Oh well, I guess that's what white strips and mints were made for. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, catching Helen in the middle of flipping a pancake. I sneaked up behind her and placed a kiss on her cheek. She turned around in lightning speed and whacked my lightly with the spatula before taking a breath and speaking.

"Heavens Louis! You scared the Dickens out of me!!"  She chuckled, repeating her previous action.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"Just decided to make some pancakes, sausages, and coffee." Helen replied, opening a cabinet and reaching for a plate and coffee mug.

"No coffee please." I answered seeing as she had was about to pour some into the cup. Helen had worked for me for around 6 years. She was part of the family. She placed my plate in front of me which I kindly accepted mumbling a 'thank you' and digging in. It was 8:30 by the time I had finished so I was on my way to the flower shop. I pressed a button on a remote which opened up my underground garage. I walked down the ramp and looked around for a specific car. I spotted my Hennessey venom GT in the middle of the cluster of cars and jogged over to it. I ducked inside and buckled up. A little later, I was arriving at Daisy's Flower Shop. I parked my car right in front of the shop quickly exiting the car and entering the small and cozy shop. It was the last week of November and was already very cold. I pulled on the door creating a small jingle to ring across the store. Lacy looked up from the magazine she was currently reading.

"LOUIS!" She boomed, walking in front of the cash register with open arms.

"Hey Lacy!" I began, walking into her hug.

"Could I get a dozen of fresh roses again?I'm sorta in a rush." I finished.

"Sure." She answered already making her way to the little array of roses and ringing up a dozen.

"That'll be $100." She announced, looking up at me with a smile. I handed her the cash and quickly left seeing as I only had 10 minutes to get to work. I arrived a little over 5 minutes late. Entering my building, I spotted just who I was looking for typing away. She looked up at me showing her million dollar smile.

"LOUIS!" she screamed jumping out of her swivel chair and straightening out her pencil skirt.

"ELEANOR!" I beamed setting down my bag and open up my arms for a hug. She scurried over and hugged me, pulling away a few seconds later.

"Here you go beautiful." I handed her the roses receiving a kiss on the cheek as a thank you before making my way into the elevator. Almost instantly I click on the 10th floor where my office was. The last floor on this building. After a couple of minutes, the door dinged indicating that I arrived at my destination. I walked out of the elevator and walked down the familiar hallway making a right, left, right, and left again. I digged into my pocket finding my keys. I unlocked the glass door and headed inside, placing my bag on my desk while taking off my jacket of my suit placing it on the back of my chair and sitting down to start work. I had had been working for around 2 hours when Eleanor came up to my office.

"How can I help you Eleanor?"

"Mr. Tomlinson, Mr. Payne is outside your office and would like to see you." I stood up from my chair motioning for her to open the door.

  "Let him in, please."

"Right away Mr. Tomlinson." She replied, swaying her hips more than necessary. I ignored her and rolled my eyes. Liam entered my office taking the seat right in front of my desk.

"Mr. Tomlinson, I suspect you know why I'm here?"

"Course Mr. Payne. I was just about to give you a call about the details concerning our trip to Washington."

"Well," He began, folding his hands in his lap.

"Here I am. And boy do I have some news for you." He finished resting his leg on his other in a gentleman manner.
