In 1979, Pink Floyd released The Wall. This album would be Pink Floyd's 2nd best album (and my personal favorite). Their greatest song they made called "Another brick in the wall pt.2" was one of many songs that defined the 70s as a whole. Other hit singles they released from this album were Comfortably Numb, Hey you, The Trial, Waiting for the worms, Run like hell, In the flesh? And is there anybody out there? The success of this album became massive! There was a long tour for it with some of their tour concerts use puppets, wires, and an actual wall. The success of this album was outstanding, Pink Floyd soon released The Wall movie in 1982.
