Today was the first day of school for Lee Felix. The blond haired boy has just moved to South Korea 3 weeks ago,and now is going on to his new school. His parents are Korean and they decided that they didn't like the things in Australia that were happening so that's why they decided to move. Felix is not so good at speaking korean, although his parents did teach him a few words he would most likely just forget and always loved to watch his TV and play video games.
Felix woke up at the sound of his alarm.
"Oh crap! Better get ready!" He said then put his clothes out and went to hop in the shower. After the shower,he puts his new fresh pairs of clothes on,sprayed his cologne, and went downstairs. Downstairs there were both his parents, giving warm smiles on their faces seeing their young man go to highschool.
"Ew what's the werid smiles for?" The blond said having his face in a disgusted look: "We're just really happy." His dad said while looking at his mom: "Yeah, now come here my little yongbokiee" his mom said while throwing him onto her and stretching his cheeks: "ew nooo please don'tttttt" Felix said then pushing her away as his mother frowned. The next couple of minutes they were eating breakfast at the kitchen table.
"You excited." His dad said while scooping up his next spoon of oatmeal: "Yeah. kinda...ish.":"don't worry you'll make lots of friends,I've talked to the principal and he said the students there are really nice,so it should be easy.":"oh.okay. yeah I'll try." The blond replied while nodding his head in nervousness. After they get done eating Felix grabs his backpack and puts his shoes on but his mom stops him in the process.
"Hey,make sure that you eat your lunch! Make lots of friends okay! Listen to all of the teachers and ask them questions if you need to! Get your grades up! And also don't forget to- "Okay okay okay mom I get it,bye!" Felix says while walking out the door.
Felix starts walking down to his school. It wasn't far, thank goodness,so he didn't really have to worry about being really late. The male walks down to the school to see bright vibrate colors of blue and yellow, and also a lot kids standing in line waiting for the doors to open.
"Crap,I forgot to study my Korean yesterday, now I don't even know what the signs are saying." Felix said while rolling his eyes, all he could hear was korean, and see KOREAN. He didn't know which way to go. The only thing that he could understand was that there was some arrows. He started to look at it squinting his eyes and trying to remember the right words.....until someone finally helped him.
"U-U-Um excuse me? Are you Felix? The new student here?" A girl with black long silky hair down to her waist and some bangs asked the younger who was confused: "yeah t-t-that's me." He stuttered:"I see your having trouble with something,I could help you if you want." He said moving her hair back over her ear with her fingers: "actually...yeah. I don't understand what the signs say. Sorry I'm just not really good at korean."Felix said while biting his lower lip:""oh the signs. Yeah the one on the left is saying that that line is the 10th grade line, the line on the right is the 9th grade line. Which grade are you in?":"10th.": "Yeah so you'll be right over there then." The girl said while pointing her finger in direction of the 10th grade line she was talking about.
"Thank you." Felix said. "may I ask? What is your name?" The blonde questioned,he was really surprised at how good her English was. She must have been studying for years:"my name is Bong-Cha. Kim Bong-Cha":" oh,okay. Kim Bong-Cha. Thank you Kim Bong-Cha.":"환영합니다 Felix"
(Your welcome Felix):"Wait what i- "Sorry that slipped out, what I was saying was your welcome." The girl said then bowed and went back with her friends. It's felt kinda nice, having a little help,it wasn't easy especially since he was in a new school, with a whole nother language. He knew it would be tuff, but he just hopes that today will go easy for him.He opens the doors to see lockers, people, teachers, posters, and snack machines. He keeps looking around then starts to space out but then realized he has to get to class. He goes to his new locker, puts some new decorations in it,grabs his schedule, brings his binder,a notebook, his pencil case then goes to his first class.
"I'm so nervous, but I should at least try and stay positive. Just for today. Just for today." He thought,he entered his first hour, sitting himself somewhere exactly at the back, just so he wouldn't get noticed,he was always an introvert,he would never wanna be up front or in the spotlight,it was just to nerve racking for him. After the boy sits down, the teacher starts to come up and talk.
"안녕하세요 수업"
(Hello class)"안녕하세요 씨 최"
(Hello Mr. Choi)"What?" Felix said. "I guess that's the greeting my mom had told me about. Glad I got something that I didn't forget."
Then a random guy walks in from another class to go talk to the teacher.
