Third POV
"Hey Felicity, could you go to the storage room to get more Carmel sauce." An average looking male in his early 30's asked a young brunette with amber-colored eyes and glasses.
"Okay Trevor, be right back. Don't get too busy while I'm gone." was the cheerful yet sassy reply of the brunette known as Felicity. As the girl walks toward the storage room of the small café. Once she was there she notices that the item she was sent for was on the top shelf. "Dammit, Trevor! What have I said about sauces on the top shelf!" Cried Felicity, her reason for her angry cries is that she is petite in stature and the top shelf is too tall for her to reach without grabbing a stool to stand on.
"What did I say about that issue of yours," Trevor replied smirking smugly when he heard Felicity's angry groan/grumble.
After ten minutes Felicity came back glaring at her boss and holding the Carmel sauce container and an obscured waitress uniform. "Here is your stupid sauce." The girl seethed out. You see she got into a 'fight' with the mop and brooms in the supply closet while getting a step stool to reach the Carmel sauce. "Good. Now you can rest for five minutes before running the coffee machine." Trevor replied still looking as smug as he did when she went to get the cursed item.
"Boss I need to tell you something," Felicity spoke calmly though looked quite sadden for unknown reasons to the head of the popular yet small café.
"What's up Lici?" Trevor said as he counted the money for the day's work.
"I'm leaving for London next week. My cousin is letting me stay with her as you know what happened to my parents two years ago." To Trevor, the reply was a surprise. Felicity never talked about her parents with anyone.
"I mean she is 18 years old now. She is living quite well honestly, but the incident happened when she was 16 and she almost completely shut down. She was there when it happened. But now she is strong and working hard to achieve her dreams." Trevor mutters his thoughts as he watched her tend to the customers.
"Hey! Trevor! I could use some help right now! We're starting lunch rush!" Felicity spoke enthusiastically as she saw more people come in.
"Alright, alright I'll help." said the man as he and Felicity got to serving the people their orders. The petit young woman took a deep breath as she walked on to the airplane that would take her to London, England. Just a 10-hour flight and she would see her favorite cousin and start a new life, one with outstares of fake pity.
"Hey, Seras. This Felicity, I'm on the plane. I'll call you when I land. Hope you get this and stuff. Thank you so much for taking me in. I really appreciate it. I'll see you soon," with that the brunette silenced her phone, pulled out a book, and got ready for a long flight."Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention? We will be landing in about five minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts. Welcome to London!" The peppy sounding flight attendant said.
"Ma'am, Please wake up and fasten your seat belt please." The flight attendant had Blonde curly hair pulled up in a loose bun and had ebony colored eyes that glowed with kindness.
"hmm...huh? Oh, Thanks for waking me!" Felicity said in a groggy voice. As she fastened her seatbelt she saw that the sky was golden and it shone in London like one of those postcards she had seen in the mall last week. "Wow soooo pretty." The tired girl exclaimed as her dark eyes lit up with childish delight.
As soon as the plane landed Felicity walked off and went toward the baggage claim. While doing so she dial her cousin. "Hey Ser! I just landed and I'm heading to baggage claim now... Oh! Your 5 minutes away, that's Awesome! I can't wait to see you again!!"Felicity's POV
As I was waiting outside for my cousin I saw a sleek black sedan pull up. At first, I thought there was some rich person or a celebrity, but it stopped in front of me. noticing that there were no other vehicles pulling up that would scream bodyguard or security I'd figure that this vehicle was my ride. " Are you Miss Felicity Barnes?" an elderly british tone asked as the front passenger window rolled down showing a dark haired man with silver showing his age. He was dressed in a suit that one would consider a text-book example of a butler's attire
"Yes, I am. Might I ask who you are?" I protagonist inquired, studying him.
" I am Walter C. Donnez. I am the head-" the man was interrupted by a bubbly blond jumping out of the vehicle, almost comically so.
"Lici! I missed you soooo much!" The Blond said as she hugged, well it's more like strangling me.
"Seras! I can't breathe!!!" I shouted as I felt my lungs losing the air it so much needed to continue my existence.
"Oops! Sorry, I just am so excited to see you! It's been so long since I've seen you!" Seras exclaimed.
"I am too. But when did you get so strong?" I breathed out trying to regain the precious air
"I don't know what you mean?" she says innocently with a head till.
As she did, a tall dark-haired man stepped out of the car. "So your Police Girl's cousin," he said
"And who might you be?" I questioned standing more rigid. The man work a bright red long trench coat and a matching hat. He stood impeccable tall and I had to crane my neck up to see his face.
"I'm Alucard. Although we should get going; after all, you must be tired from that flight of yours, right?" Alucard proposed back with a small but nearly unnatural smile. I looked to Sears for confirmation and she nodded back
"yeah" I murmured suddenly feeling small.1021 words
