Caitlin stared at him with a blank expression. "What?"

"You heard me. What's your story?"

"Thats not a part of this!"

"You heard mine, even before I told you!"

"But-"

"Excuse me. I didn't mean to interrupt your lovers' quarrel." A slender figure said, as she stepped from the shadows. Caitlin shifted wolf, neck fur bristling like fire.

"You! Leave! I told you not to come here anymore!" Dune shifted wolf, and placed himself beside Caitlin.

He lowered his muzzle to speak in her ear. "Who is this?"

"The one who attacked you." She snarled dully.

"Now, now. I've only come for what is mine." The girl giggled. A strand of silvery blond hair fell from under the hood, dangling in front of the black. The girl pulled back her hood, and grinned. "Well, Caitlin, what do you want?"

"Go away Park, before I rip your throat out."

"That sounds nice. Go ahead and try. I was wanting to play anyway." She turned, and sped away, faster than anything Dune had seen before. Caitlin pounced, and took off after her. Dune popped onto his paws, and bolted after the pair.

"Caitlin, wait up!" He howled, trying to follow their scents. The scent trail ended abruptly, leaving Dune scouring the forest floor for any traces. Giving up, he shifted human and leaned against a nearby tree. Moments past, and the outside world began to grow ever darker, and a cool breeze shifted the leaves above him. Where'd they go? He took a few steps away from the tree when a splitting pain shot through his skull. He growled, and closed his eyes. Slowly sitting onto the grass below, he tilted his head back and looked up in an attempt to minimize the motion. The pain pounded in his head like a river against stones. A twig crackled, pulling Dune's attention. Silvery hair flashed across his vision, before he felt a pain in his neck. It seared and burned like holding your hand over the heat of a fire. His head spun, and Caitlin's words rang in his head, 'If you see her, run'. His pupils dilated to slits, and he howled angrily. The attacker stepped back, and spun to put her face close to his. "Who are you?"

Caitlin, bounded from the shadows, knocking the silver haired girl off her feet. Dune felt a relief in his temples and he shifted swiftly. "Stay away, you little creep!" She barked aggressively. Dune made his way to stand next to her.

"Caitlin, who is this?" He asked in a low voice.

"She's-"

"Wow, sis. Didn't daddy tell you not to interfere with me and my toys?" The girl mocked and gave a pout. Dune shook his head. So there was familial relations. He looked over to Caitlin and back to Park.

"Park, go away, he's not a toy!"

"No? Well he still has to submit to my will anyway." She shrugged, the pressure in his chest began to build. Caitlin lunged at her, gripping the girl by the arm.

"Release the binding on him, or say goodbye to your arm!" She snapped. Park attempted to pull away from her and squeaked in pain.

"Fine! Fine!" She howled, "Now let me go!" Caitlin let go, and growled. Park clasped her bleeding hand, and ran, stumbling over a tree root as she did.

Once she was out of sight, Dune turned to Caitlin. "Could you not trust me enough to tell me?" He frowned, eyebrows pulling together.

"What about you?" She snarled, whipping around to face him. "You didn't exactly tell me your mother was the Pure Wolf Queen!"

"That information wasn't necessary to the situation!"

"Well thats the same reasoning in this case isn't it?"

"No!" He growled, beginning to pace, tail twitching. She snorted, and turned, beginning to walk away.

"Well good night!" She barked angrily. She stormed off, and Dune watched, instantly feeling guilty.
