Noel didn't dare to take a look over to me last night.
I got ready for school and after I came back from the bathroom, he stood at his window and watched me.
I froze in my movement and looked at him. He was quarreling with himself, I could see that.
He had his chance yesterday, he didn't take it, so I gave him a second chance now. I waited for him to open his window, but he didn't.
I shook my head in disbelief, turned around to my dresser, picked up my phone and left my room. That's it. He had his chances.
At school, I waited for Amy and Tyler at our lockers.
Amy asked me about Noel and I told her that he's been lying to me.
"How do you know he lied?" Tyler asked me.
"Because I know him. And because he got nervous." I replied.
Amy nodded, "He scratched his nose, didn't he?" she asked and I nodded laughing softly, "Yeah."
"Well, we'll deal with that later. But we're late." Tyler said and we went to mathematics class.
I wasn't in the best mood, especially not after Chemistry.
Amy and I skipped Anatomy and met Tyler at Tipple and Rose.
"I already ordered!" Tyler waved us from the left corner,
"What have you ordered?" I asked when we approached the table and sat down.
He put a cup in front of Amy and smiled. "Hot Lavender for my Girl and a Boba for my Best." He laughed and put my Bubble Tea in front of me.
"Well, cheers." Amy giggled and took a sip from her tea.
I looked at her, supporting my head with my hand, "What?" she asked me irritated,
"My Sweetie is turning seventeen tomorrow." I smiled. She rolled her eyes and sighed.
"I know. You both will be there, no one else." She said strictly and we nodded, "Alright."
"And no presents!" she added laughing.
"Your turn." Tyler said and looked at me curiously, "How do you know he lied?"
"Right. That's the topic today." Amy looked at Tyler and I sighed, so I started telling them the whole story.
"Well, first I saw him in his room pretty angry talking to someone, but he didn't want to tell me what was wrong, so I left it like it was, because I didn't want to annoy him more than he already was. Then I was in the greenhouse and saw him on the terrace. Again, he seemed pissed, so I went outside. Honestly because I was curious and I wanted to know if it was Jade again." I took a sip of my tea and continued.
"Before that, we actually had a date, but he was busy arguing with Jade in his room. I don't know what all this was about, but she decided to kiss him and ruined my mood, so I went back home and waited for him, but he didn't show up. Then I saw him on the terrace. He was talking to Gordon and when he saw me, he hung up on him lied to me." I told them.
"And you know he lied because?" Tyler asked again, I opened my mouth but Amy was faster.
"Because he scratched his nose." She smiled and I nodded, "Correct." I replied.
He nodded and looked at me again, "And what was it he lied about?"
"That Jade tried to convince him to come to Gordon's house." Amy raised an eyebrow, "Okay, that really sounds like a lie," she laughed and Tyler grinned. "I think you wouldn't have believed it anyways." He added and we fell into laughter.
