chapter 9 he's awke

Midoriya was rushed to the hospital immediately, he went into surgery for eighteen hours. After the surgery they put Midoriya inside of a private room and only family could visit him at the moment. Inko told her son's classmates about his Hanakai Disease and if they could not tell him about it, or who the person was, the class agreed to not tell him, but a certain angry little blond pleaded and begged Inko to at least sit by his side. Inko couldn't help but nod her head yes. Katsuki and Izuku have been friends since they were kids. I mean how could she not, she's been long-time friends with his mother Mitsuki Bakugou for a long time. Inko and All Might walked with Bakugou to Midoriya's room. All Might went to get some water. Bakugou was sitting in a chair next to Deku's bed and intertwined his fingers into Deku's hands. Bakugou sighs and inhaled deku scent, he couldn't stop thinking about how this is possible. Deku is here, He's alive, He's safe. Bakugou took Deku's hand and kisses it tenderly. Inko watched as Bakugou kissed her son's hand and couldn't help but giggles at his cuteness. Inko spoke, "You love my boy, don't you Katsuki?" Bakugou couldn't hold back his blush pops on his face and nodded his head. "Yes, auntie, I do love Izuku and I promise, I will work hard to become a hero for him." Inko was pleased with Katsuki's words and accepts him. A week has gone by and Bakugou came every day to see Midoriya, to the beginning and the end of visitation hours. The doctor said that his injuries were remarkably healed, thanks to his new quirk, but he's been unconscious for about two weeks.

The doctors told Mrs. Midoriya that her son is going to make a full recovery but he will be traumatized for a while and will need constant therapy. Deku was extremely sleep-deprived, he wasn't dehydrated anymore and the color on his face came back. He's gotten a blood transfusion and lots of cards and gifts from his classmates and teachers. Inko already cried for a long time for her son and the fact that he's alive. She never gave up hope. She knew that he was still alive, she felt it. All Might walked in and put his arm around Inko and kissed her cheek. Inko wiped her eyes "Darling, look how strong our boy has gotten, but I can't help but worry about that new quirk of his." All Might rested his chin on Inko's head and hugged her, "don't worry dear, he's our strong boy, he can take care of himself and I promise I will protect him with my life. He loves you Inko dear" Inko smiled and couldn't help but challenge All Might's words "you're going to have to fight Katsuki then, he already said he will protect our boy." All Might was not surprised from what Inko said. "well then my love I will have to put him in Bakugou's hands." All Might was laughing at his joke. Inko just hugged her boyfriend. "You poor unfortunate soul" the both of them were laughing. Bakugou came back inside with a change of clothes for himself and Deku. He caught both parents kissing, "aw gross! My eyes! I was only gone for 20 minute's!" Both parents were laughing at Bakugou's joke. Inko kissed All Might once again and he blushed. They heard a noise coming from Midoriya, all they saw was the young boy opening his eyes.

idoriya woke up to the site of seeing his mom and dad kissing. Midoriya croaked "wow, just what I wanted to see when I woke up, My parents smashing lips like hungry animals" he chuckled. Inko and All Might crush Midoriya into a huge bear hug and showered his face in kisses. Inko hits her son's head. Inko scolded "hey! I wouldn't be talking if I were you mister! You're going to kiss your loved one day and grow old with him or her!" Midoriya rolled his eyes at his mom's comment. Midoriya was finally up from sleep land. Bakugou decided to leave them alone, they had a lot to talk about. He texted All Might to tell him when they were done so he can be alone with Deku. Midoriya was sitting up in the hospital bed, he told his parents about what Shigaraki did, he even told them about the copy Inko, and his new friend mischiefmaker. Midoriya told his parents that he was a good dog, he only acts hostile when he's life is in danger or if anyone he loves is in danger too. Inko asked if she could meet mischiefmaker, Deku closed his eyes and he appeared. Mischiefmaker looked around and saw an unknown small woman and a tall man. He didn't growl because he didn't sense they were bad. Deku opened his eyes, midoriya spoke "mischiefmaker, this is my mom Inko and my dad Yagi, but you can call him All Might" mischiefmaker bowed his head at the both of them. "It's a pleasure to meet you both, I'm sorry that you saw that side of me on the battlefield but I was only protecting master Midoriya" Inko and All Might be surprised to meet a mannered shadow dog. Inko giggled, "well I forgive you since you protected him, now are you both hungry? I made Katsudon" Midoriya and mischiefmaker's eyes light up with happiness. All Might was taking lots of pictures to remember this day.

Hours had past and Midoriya was greeted by all his friends, (except bakugou for now)* Midoriya was curious on why his childhood friend didn't see him yet, he got crushed by Todoroki'a hugs. He got a lot of lectures from everyone, especially from Kirishima and Uraraka. They told him the horrible things that happened when he was gone. The cruel thought of having him dead made everyone depressed, especially Bakugou, he took it harder than anyone. Midoriya's "last words" gave everyone hope and encouraged him to push harder to become the best heroes they could be. After everyone left, the door creaked open and that was when Midoriya looked over and saw his childhood friend there. Midoriya smiled big; "Kacchan! You're here! I'm so happy to see you! Bakugou was holding back the tears he had in his eyes and ran to Deku and crushed him in a hug. Midoriya was baffled "who are you and where is Kacchan? The Kacchan I know would never hug me" Midoriya laughed, but Bakugou only hugged him more. "Just...Shut up Deku. Let me have this moment." He said in a calm voice. Midoriya wrapped his arms around bakugou and hugged back. Midoriya smiled \ "would you like to sit on the bed with me Kacchan? I'm getting sleepy" Bakugou nodded his head, both ended up falling asleep, Bakugou holding Deku.

The next morning Uraraka and Kirishima visited Midoriya and they couldn't stop giggling and taking pictures, Bakugou was holding Midoriya for dear life, he looks like a small child who doesn't want to let go of their doll. Kirishima and Uraraka both took pictures to last a lifetime. Blackmailing time, all of a sudden a dark shadow appeared and growled at both of them, Uraraka screamed. Deku and Bakugou both instantly woke up. Deku told them that he didn't mean it, only when mischiefmaker thinks Deku is in danger. Midoriya shouted "mischiefmaker, down boy! They are good people! My friends! They are my family! Down boy!" Mischiefmaker bowed to say sorry for scaring Kirishima and Uraraka, then he floats to Midoriya's lap and lays down, closing his eyes. Midoriya starts petting mischiefmaker, kissing his cheeks, "that's my good boy" Mischiefmaker was looking at Bakugou and gives him a smug look. Meanwhile, Bakugou was pissed off that this fucking black smoke bitch was on Deku's lap, and not himself. Uraraka and Kirishima were holding in their snorts, watching and enjoy the entertainment they are seeing from mischiefmaker and Bakugou fighting over Midoriya. Bakugou took it upon himself and laid on Deku's lap himself, his blush pop going off. Deku flinched at Kacchan's sudden move. He looked down and saw Bakugou on his lap. Deku was puzzled "Ummm??? Kacchan what are you doing?" Kacchan blushed more "shut up Deku! I'm still tried! And you're the closest so just let me sleep!". Bakugou blush pops got more and more bright. Kirishima at that point was wheezing at Bakubro and Uraraka is right with him. Mischiefmaker asked "Izuku? Is this brat okay? His heart rate is beating fast and his face is red" Mischiefmaker grinned at Bakugou, he knows what he did. Midoriya chuckled; "mischiefmaker don't call him a brat, call him Kacchan, Kacchan is your face okay?" Deku feels kacchan head "you look fine to me". Kacchan couldn't find the right words to say, Deku just puts his hand on Kacchan'a head and pets him Deku sighed "since your running a fever, just stay here, I'll take care of you Kacchan unless you don't want me too" Bakugou was cheering on the inside, but on the outside he just nods his head and kept cool, his acting like a spoiled child. Uraraka and Kirishima left happy but annoyed that they both forgot about them, but on the bright side they got so much proof of Bakugou's weak side for Midoriya.
