Prologue

Present

Sitting at the airport lounge area while waiting for my flight to Philippines. Reading some papers and some business deal I need to attend and finish while I'm here in the civilization it's been a year since my last visit here. I've been residing in a place where far away from the cruelty of the world. I'm also here for the yearly medical mision that my group commit to do for years now. We go to places that their government can't easily reach out, mga tao mas gustong manatili sa mga bundok o mga isla na mas mapayapa at tahimik para sa kanila. And all of a sudden a nature calls so I don't have a choice but to go to the bathroom. Nung pabalik na ako sa upuan ko bigla nalang akong may narinig na sumigaw nga pangalan ko. And I hate that. "Creiggan Isabelle!" Scream by someone who knows what to piss me off, Zeskka a cousin of mine. At bigla nya nalang tinakbo ang distansya namin sya galing sa pinto ako na sa gitna nga aisle ng lounge area pabalik sa upuan ko, nung bigla nalang sya yumakap sa akon habang nakatalikod ako ng hindi sinasadyang natumba sa ako taong nakaupo sa gilid. "Shit! I'm sorry." Sabi ko sa taong sumalo ng matumba ako. I didn't see the stranger cause I'm wearing a bull cap to hide my face from people who knew me I don't want them to know I'm back. The stranger help me to stand up also with the help of my cousins whose bubbling she's sorry to the stranger also. When I'm back with my feet I don't know but something tells me to look that person and I did. It's stunned me when I see his face he looks so familiar but I don't know where I saw him and the way he looks at me, there's a recognition in his eyes and he said the name that I only allowed to few people to call me "Belle?".
