Attack

Konumunikari said her goodbyes to Kaizu and walked slowly down the stair case. She checked her watch. 10:45 pm. It was very late. She signed out and walked to her car slowly lost in thought.

"Kaizu. Please get better soon brother, I need you. Your all I have in this cursed world..." She looked up at the starry night sky, and walked to her car.

She unlocked the car door but before getting in, she noticed a running figure heading down a back alley, followed by another figure quite so quick. Her curiosity too fast for her mind to think properly, she quickly locked her car again and ran in the same direction. As she came up to the corner she could hear the mumbles of a man and what sounded like, a man with a vocal chord problem.

"No I beg you... please..." It sounded like the man was in absolute terror.

There was no response from the hooded figure and Konnie heard a huge thud. She jumped. She was afraid of what had just happened. But she then heard what sounded like crunching. Konnie became confused and thought to herself "this must be a joke".

She turned around the corner and slowly walked up to the hooded figure which was knelt down over something. As she walked the crunching noises got louder and louder. And then it hit her, this man was being eaten. She gasped and stumbled backwards and the hooded figure stopped and stood up slowly.

"Oh...no..." Konnie said to herself slowly.

She quickly turned to run but some sort of tentacle grabbed her holding her tight. She screamed.

"Well, well, well." Said the hooded figure. It's voice was raspy and broken. It was calm and and disturbing.

The figure turned around and Konnie gasped and froze up. She could not believe what she was seeing. The figure put his hood down revealing dark black hair. His mouth was stained with what was definitely blood. His eyes were blacked out, with a blood red pupil and cracks around each eye. There was no mistaking it. This man is a Ghoul.

"It appears we have an onlooker!" The Ghoul exclaimed pulling Konnie towards him with his tentacle Kagune.

"Mmm. You look like a nice meal too." He stroked her chin. "Just the right size. Well fed as it seems, and a very pretty face." The Ghoul was speaking slowly making Konnie's insides churn with fear.

"Now I can't have you going around telling everyone with what's happened here can I?" The Ghoul smiled darkly. Konnie struggled trying to get out of the Kagune's strong hold. It's no good.

"Hehehe. Now your mine!" The Ghoul's Kagune slammed her to the ground holding her by the hands, feet and neck with only her chest exposed. Konnie screamed again louder.

"No! Please! I'm begging you! Don't do this! I won't tell anyone, no one at all!" She screamed begging for her life. But it was too late. She felt her stomach get ripped open and the Ghouls hands inside. Konnie knew she had no chance of surviving now. This was it. This was the end.

"Kaizu... I'm sorry..."
Her eyes shut slowly. A single tear fell from her eye.

"Goodbye..."
