It was early in the morning I got up and thought in my head "Anther year of the reaping and more kids will die" I walk out of my wooden little house from district 12 and start to walk into the middle of Seam,when I herd a small voice "Can I come" it was my little sister Emilie.She has short brown hair down to her shoulders and dark hazel eyes and this is only her second year of her reaping and it's my third. "ok go get your jumper." she smilie's and tip-toes into the house to get her jumper.
"Hay Grace" said a voice from behind me "oh...hay Jasmine"I say back.She walks up to me "came on let's go"she said and starts to pull me to the frence "Wait Emilie's coming to"I blurt out. She give's me a smilie.Jasmine,Emilie and me go to school together."Oh ok then but she has to hurry up PeaceKeepers are come around"and just as she said that Emilie runs out of the house " Hi Jassy"she said "hi" jasmine says back.
We go under the fence and into the woods and we run off to the lake to get fish.We get 7 fish and 8 Katniss roots "Hay Grace.Do you think anyone will name there child Katniss?"said Emilie
"Well that depends if they have a girl or a boy but...yes I think they would."
She nods her head as an agreement
"we should go home and get ready for the reaping" jasmine says a few minutes after so we start to walk back
We diced to skip the Hob today and go home.At home my mother hugs us a says "you have to tell me if your going into the woods you almost scaerd me to death"we stand in silence when Emilie runs upstairs to get dressed "you go get changed to"said mother I nod and walk upstairs to put my light green top and musky white skirt on i do my long blonde hair in a bun a start to walk down stairs.Emilie is wearing a almost white but blue top with a pearly gray skirt on with her hair behind her ears for once.That's when we hear the bell signaling the reaping.
Emilie starts to breath fast "hay hay hay it's ok you have done it twice before you can do it again" she nods quickly before the PeaceKeeper comes to the door "Get moving!"he shouts at us we start to walk out of the house I look at it just in case my name ends up in Eiffe Trinkets hand.We walk over to the place were they take our blood.Emilie's goes first then me and then she starts to walk over to the 15 year old area and I walk to the 16 year olds we stand in silence.
