I walked up the concrete sidewalk probably looking like an absolute idiot dressed the way I am, but yet doesn't everyone tonight? it's Halloween.

I'm walking to a party that almost everyone who is over 18 in this town got invited to. I'm only attending because I needed an excuse to get out of going trick or treating with my sister. I'm an 18 year old girl who is living in her own apartment, no mum I do not want to go trick or treating.

This party requires for everyone to wear a costume and I didn't actually mind that part, as much as I find trick or treating childish, creating a 'costume' is a form of self expression to me.

What am I dressed as?

A grunge zombie.

Like I said a form of self expression, a lot of thinking and all that crap went into this 'costume'.

I'm wearing a nirvana t-shirt, black skinny jeans, black flannel tied around my waist, black converses and messy hair. What is the difference between grunge hair and zombie hair? not much. Oh and I must not forget the zombie makeup, I watched at least 13 YouTube tutorials to achieve this look.

I walked here because I only live in the apartment buildings around the block and I plan on getting so drunk tonight. I'm not an idiot, I don't get drunk then drive.

I walked up the front pathway of the house, there were boys dressed in all sorts of interesting costumes throwing rolls of toilet paper at each other? I wonder what they plan to achieve from doing that other than wasting perfectly good toilet paper.

The front door of the house was wide open for anyone to enter, the loud pop music filled the house along with teenagers dressed in costumes, tacky halloween decorations and the smell of alcohol and weed.

This is a stupid party filled with dumb kids and I don't want to be here.

I haven't even made my way around the whole house before the bubble gum pop music was starting to give me a headache. Weird, Vic Fuentes could call me down with his voice, but when Miley Cyrus starts singing about a wrecking ball, I get a headache.

There was Halloween decorations everywhere, they weren't even scary. I grabbed a slice of pizza and a beer, it's all free at a party so take what you want.

I just stood alone observing peoples costumes, its Halloween and no one even looks scary. I'm the only girl here wearing more than just my underwear. I noticed a curly haired boy as a pirate, lingerie bunny, male stripper (just a wannabe in a costume, although that Roman numerals tattoo on his collar bone is hot) and a slutty cat all together smoking some weed in the living room. This

I pulled a cigarette out and lit it inside the house, a guy came rushing over to me.

" No smoking inside! get out there" he said shoving me out onto the back porch.

" But people are smoking weed in there!" I retorted and pointed to the other smokers.

" Yeah well this is my party and my house and I don't want lung cancer, weed never hurt anyone" the guy told me, he left me on the back porch and went inside.

" Just when you think they can't get any stupider" I mumbled and shook my head.

For a busy party there was barely anyone outside, probably because of the lack of lighting and everyone wanted to be seen in their elaborate costumes so they stayed in the well lit house.

I think I liked it better out here anyway, I sat down on the porch steps and smoked my cigarette, I didn't think anyone was sitting next to me until I heard a deep voice ask.

" What are you supposed to be?"

Hello readers! Happy Halloween (if you aren't reading this on Halloween my apologies)

So this is my first Luke, and Halloween themed fanfic. I just love Halloween and Luke Hemmings so why not combine them!?!

Anyway! I know Luke isn't mentioned in this chapter, but just wait and see. This is a little insight into our main girl character.

Just imagine the girl character as yourself, or if you feel you don't relate to her at all comment who you think I should cast as her!?!

Really hot Luke gif on the side!

Ok ok rambling I know. ENJOY!
