rubble. That was all that was left of the building that once stood in its place and the streets around it. Hundreds of appartments gone and now hundreds of people dead and without homes. Hundreds of bodies crushed among the rubble and debris that littered the streets. this was one time that the hero's where to late. But no matter what they did or where they were, it would all end the same. Before the explosion, there were no signs of any threat or danger. Everything seemed peaceful and calm and then within a matter of seconds, the building was crumbling to the ground. It was determined after the hero's arrived, that it was not one bomb but multiple, most likely placed on the bottom and middle floors as well as the roof, to do the most damage. Whoever did this wasn't stupid by any means. They knew what they were doing. The heroes arrived at the scene as quickly as possible and began to quickly and fiercely sift through the rubble, looking for any survivors. It took quite a while to sift through everything, sorting the bodies as they went along. They were near the end cleaning and sifting through the broken building and bodies. It was a grim sight. They had found a pile of corpses and still no survivors. That was until a small shrill cry pierced through the morbid silence that filled the air. To everyone's disbelief, a few seconds later, another cry pierced through the air. Everyone froze not really believing what they had just heard. Was it possible?. Where there some survivors after all?. Everyone stood frozen, looking at each other as if asking did they hear the cry's as well. After a few seconds of listening to the crying, the realization hit that the cry's where real. this is where our story begins. The story of how the city's most powerful and popular superhero duo became more than just partners. They became parents. They're the most memorable and hardest mission to date, but they wouldn't change it for the world.
