"He kissed me!" I squealed, running into Alarics room and jumping onto his figure that once lay peacefully on the bed. He groaned due to the heavy and unexpected impact from my body. But Lord knows I wasn't giving two shits about his wellbeing. Alaric did in fact care about his well being and shoved me off him. I tumbled backwards but landed on my knees at the end of the bed, almost falling off it. I stared at him with a toothy grin and no doubt a mop of messy hair.
"Who the fuck kissed you?" He growled in distaste as he sat up and dusted off the non existant dirt on his clothes - as if I was dirty and had spread it on him with a touch.
"Sunshine!" I exclaimed as I threw my hands in the air dramatically. I looked back at Alaric who rolled his eyes at my behaviour but he wasn't hiding that hint of a smile from me. Nuh uh.
"And why the fuck are you telling me?" He asked bluntly.
"Because" I started, then crawled closer to him so I sat opposite his large stature. I crossed my legs in a basket and continued. "I don't have another girl to talk to it about so you're gonna be my girl" I said, deadly serious.
His eyebrows shot up before they dropped into a glare. "Why can't you ask Lúka? I'm pretty sure he's already gay so he could be a good one to talk to. Not me" He argued helplessly in attempt to save his pride.
"Yeah, but Lúka doesn't know the real Sunshine. If I went into Lúka's room the same way I came in here, he would be out that door with his Terry Renner" I reasoned. He grumbled something under his breath before looking back at me and sighing, rasing a brow as if asking me to continue.
I grinned mischievously and started to tell him the whole story of what happened today, making sure to not leave out any detail. During the conversation, I had switched positions many times but about halfway through, Alaric slumped back against his headboard, clearly bored of the conversation.
"And then he kissed me" I finished with a dreamy sigh from my position with my legs againt his headboard and wall and laying back onto the bed my hair spread around me like armour.
"That's it? What happened then?"
My dramatic expression slowly fell to a neutral one. I relaxed the tension in my body and directed my gaze to the wall behind Alaric as my mind drifted off the the events afterwards.
The second my lips were agaisnt his, a giddy feeling erupted in my stomach. Nooo. It wasn't the 'butterflies' or 'fireworks'...although for the sake of my cliche romance story, let's say it was. But if I'm being honest, I was so nervous I thought I was about to get sick.
Now that would have made one hell of a 'first kiss' story to tell our kids.
It wasnt as awkward as I thought it might have been. Our lips moved effortlessly in sync. Almost as if - here comes the cringe - our lips were 'made' for each other.
Though I can't deny, the longer our lips brushed agaisnt each other to the rhythm of our emotions, the more I knew I didn't wanna leave this situation. Ever. And by the time he had held me by the waist and dropped his knees to pull me into his lap, the more I thought he didn't either.
But all things come to an end.
Sunshine was the first to pull away. His hands stayed on my waist, keeping me close to the warmth that shielded my body from the bitter late air. I dropped my hands to sit between the small gap of our bodies. Our foreheads lightly connected through the top of his hood as now we were both trying to find our breath for a change.
