The wind blew against Cloves face as the night grew darker. It was freezing and she was terrified. But being alone in the tree gave her a chance to think. She went from being in her bed to a strange island called NeverLand. She had never heard of such a place. She knew she had to be far from home. There was just forest and beach. No buildings or clock towers like there was back at her home in England. She was certainly far from home. And all she wanted now was to go back.

Yet was it possible? Could she truly return?
No... you can never go home...

She heard that voice whispering to her in her mind. If she was caught, she'd be killed. If she lived, she would be trapped there forever. No option seemed very good. Clove was so worried, yet the lost boys were no where near her... for now... she was safe...

A scream... a scream followed by cheering and chanting was what woke her up. Clove had fallen asleep at the top of the tree. It had been a long night of waiting for a painful death to come. And she was still alive... she had fallen asleep. But she could hear from that scream that not everyone had been so lucky. She had no idea how many of the fifteen of them were dead. At least the one... but her eyes widened when she heard the cheering come closer. She saw light coming closer... Cloves eyes widened. She ducked down, hiding behind the trunk of the tree as best she could. As long as they weren't checking in the trees... she should be safe. But now, she was panicking. She could hardly breathe... her heart was pounding.

"That's three." She heard one of the lost boys say as they walked right under the tree she was is.

"No, it was four! Austin killed Pierce. Too bad Austin got away. He'd have been fun to kill." Another boy said. Clove looked at them as they stopped to talk under the tree. They didn't know she was there yet... her eyes scanned the group. And then, she was horrified. Pan was staring right at her... but it was dark... could he see her? Or was he just staring into space? She didn't move a muscle. She couldn't risk it.

"The night isn't over yet, boys. Don't forget we still have that pesky girl running around. She could slip right under our noses..." Pan spoke up, but then chuckled. "Or right over our heads." He grinned. The lost boys slowly looked up to where Pan was looking. And that was when they noticed her.

They all started grinning. It was terrifying. She stared down at them like they were little demons grinning at her like she was a meal.
"Let me get her down here." Nibbs said with a grin. He took his quiver of arrows off and began climbing the tree to get to her.

Clove started panicking even more. She wasn't going down like this... she couldn't. The idea of death terrified her. She began climbing higher up the tree, trying to pull herself up as high as she could. If she fell, if the drop didn't kill her, the lost boys would.

"Nice night gown. It's a great view from down here." Nibbs smirked, climbing high and higher. Soon, Clove had reached the top of the tree. There was no where else for her to go. Nowhere but down.

"Come here, you little trouble maker. Your fate awaits." Nibbs smirked, trying to grab her by her ankle. She screamed as he started pulling her off the branch. "L-Let go!!" She yelled, holding onto the branch as tight as she could. And then, she started kicking her feet. She didn't want this to be how she died. She kicked him so hard that Nibbs fell from the top of the tree almost all the down. At the very bottom of the tree, he grabbed onto a branch and managed to break his fall.

"Little bitch." He mumbled, jumping the rest of the way down. Now, the lost boys seemed angry. But Pan was amused. He thought it was funny. There no way she'd be alive by the end of the game, but perhaps she could survive the night...
