Rachel stared down my phone in shock as she clutched her legs together. "What do I do?" She repeated to herself.
She stared at the phone for while until she felt the urge to call Sarah, her best friend. Rachel dialed Sarah's number and held the phone against her ear. "Please pick up." She begged.
After the first ring a voice spoke, "Hello?"
Rachel's eyes began to water. "Sarah...I need help." On the other line Sarah knew something was wrong. Rachel would never her by her full name, unless something is wrong. "Hang on, Rachel. I'll be there in 10." Rachel nodded before the call ended.
Rachel scroll through all the pictures she had with Nmajoon. Every tear she shed, Sarah was a few steps closer to her best friends house.
Soon Sarah was on the doorsteps and knocked on the door twice. The door creaked open revealing a smiling older woman. "Hi Sarah what brings you here?" She said happily. Sarah smiled. "Can I see Rachel?" The older woman nodded and step to the side letting the young girl in."She's in her room, have fun dear." Sarah nodded and ran up to Rachel's room.
She halt in front of the door and heard small sniffles behind. Sarah frowned, she took a deep breath and knock on the door two times.
The doorknob turned and cracked to the door open, showing a soft state of Rachel. She had her eyes puffy and tear stains on her cheeks. Out of instinct Sarah pulled Rachel into a hug. They both didn't speak and let the hug comfort.
Sarah pulled back and looked at Rachel, "Do you want to talk about it?" The younger girl nodded and walked back to the bed. She sat down and held a pillow against her chest. Sarah walked in the room and noticed white petals all over the room.
"W-what happened here?" She said examining the petals. She bent over and picked up a petal, she noticed there was some bits of blood on it. Sarah looked up and saw Rachel on the bed fidgeting with her pillow. "Mind explaining?"
Rachel nodded and patted the empty spot on the bed in front of her. "It all started...." She bagan.

"So I just found I have this disease called hanahaki. I don't know what to do anymore." She said softly and tightened her grip on the pillow.
Sarah looked at her with worried eyes. "Don't worry I'm sure well find something."
Suddenly, Rachel's phone lit up along with a notification ring. She glance over her phone and it was a message from Namjoon. Once she read his name she covered her face the pillow. "You read it."
Sarah grabbed the phone and read the message outloud, "Hey, Rachel I hope I'm not bothering but I'm I just reached korea. I wish you were here to see the city. It's really beautiful! I'll tell you more later, I gotta go. Bye!!"
Rachel looked and started coughing. Sarah frantically moved closer to her. "Are you okay?" She asked and patted her back. "Yeah." She coughs out more petals. "I'm fine." She stats softly.
"No you're not! Look at the petals, half of them have blood on them instead of a few." Sarah sighs. "I'm sure we'll figure this out soon but for now you're going to deal with this for a while."
Rachel her head down,"Okay."

2 years later...
It's the year of 2014 and Rachel still couldn't get her feelings off Namjoon. She thought would last temporary but boy she was wrong.
Working in a cafe made things worse. She saw some people laughing and smiling showing their dimples just like Namjoon would.
Rachel would cough up petals here and there when someone would remind her of Namjoon. It was nearly impossible to take her mind off him.
It's been 2 years since Namjoon left to korea. He would always text Rachel whenever he had the time to. But because of his busy schedule, him and Rachel slowly became more and more distant. Sometimes he wouldn't respond until weeks after. What's more painful for Rachel was being left unseen instead of read. This stressed Rachel out often.
During break, she sat down in the corner of the cafe next to a window. "Feeling any better." A voice asked.
Rachel looked up and met the eyes of her best friend, Sarah. "Not really."
Sarah smiled at her. "I think the best option is to go to Korea and see Namjoon." She suggested. Rachel averted her gaze. "What? But... but what if I tell him my feelings and he doesn't feel the same way?"
A sigh left Sarah's lips. "It's worth a shot. If you don't do anything, then you're going to die. I don't want that to happen to you, Rachel."
Rachel chewed on her lip. "I... I guess I'll try."
Sarah smiled again. "That's the spirit."
Rachel hesitantly nodded. "Yea..." She checked the time. "I should get going. I'll see later." She softly smiled at Srmarh before walking away.
Once the day ended, Rachel closed the cafe and started walking home.
She couldn't stop thinking about what Sarah said earlier. Rachel was debating whether if she should actually go or not. What if he does reject her? What would she do then? What will happen to her? Will she die or not?
Rachel was feeling a uneasy with these questions flowing through her mind. Soon she reached her house and went straight to her room.
She did her night routine and snuck into her bed. She clicked off the lights next to her. She stared at the ceiling thinking about what she is going to do tomorrow. Soon she fell asleep to the next day.
