Scoping out my territory was always hard with me staying in a big city. There were a lot of humans but not to much I could do about them walk though my territory. I tried to make my territory as safe as can be but didn't need the unwanted attention the came with protecting it. It could get me in some trouble if I tried to put a stop to it. I had to keep this in mind as I walked around the dark city.
As I walk through a dark alleyway I heard someone grunt in pain I walk a bit faster to see what was going on. I see three men two standing and one on the ground. Blood was around the skinny blondes mouth. I knew I couldn't standby and watch this so I let a feral growl slip through my teeth. I made my present known to them as I walk into the light of the only streetlight around. My tail rises high and I snap my jaw a couple of times to show I was a threat to be feared.
I continued to walk closer and the two guys didn't seem so brave as the scent of fear washed over my senses. I could hear them trying to figure out what to do, so I helped them out a little bit in a growly tone I told them to "RUN". I have never heard two people trip and fall as much as they did I would normally give them a chase but I had more important issues at the current moment.
I could still sense the fear from the human that was on the ground. I let my tail fall back down to its normal position showing I was calm and walked to the skeleton man and set down. " Are you okay ?"I say in a calm voice trying to make myself look and sound nonthreatening. He coughs a little more blood and responded with, " Yeah, well I think so." He tries to get up, I move to help him set up but nothing more. "You shouldn't try getting up yet, don't need you to hurt yourself more. Do you have any friends you could call to help you back to your home?" I try to get him to think reasonably before he did anything foolish. "N-not really" he replied in a sad voice. "Well then I guess I could try to get you, come now," I said as I use my head to push him up he instaist falls back down holding his side. "Are you okay! I didn't mean to hurt you more" I say as I back away a couple steps and press myself to the group.
" It's not your fault you didn't know any better. I think I might be able to get ahold of someone can you grab my phone over there?" he says pointing to the phone that was abonading on the ground. I went over to grab the phone and brought it to him. He started to call someone, as he talked I layed down beside him. His hand soon start to pet my darkish grey fur, my fur was matted in some places but he didn't say anything. I set there dozing off until I hear someone else walking in the ally. I stood up guarding the skeleton man. "Don't worry, it's just my friend" he says smoothing my rising fur. I look at and say " then it's best that I go off now". Running off without hearing a word he says. I can't get attach to another, they could hurt me like before.
The wolf like creature leaves in great hurry not letting me get a word in before she leaves. She is slightly underweight if her rid bones were anything to go by. Her fur greasy and matted showing it hadn't been taken care of. I wanted to know more about the creature that saved me, but I would most likely never see her again.
I tell my friend, Naomasa Tsukauchi about the wolf like creature that save me. Tsukauchi help me up and took me to the police station to give a report on what happened. He told me that he would keep an eye out for her. I thanked him and we parted ways. Going a safer route home this time.
