Bella's Life as a Cullen—this is a story that I've been coming up with, for a while. I'll soon continue with my other stories, but when the muse hits me, I have to let it lead me and write what it tells me, to, or else I don't get to write at all, because it hits me that hard. So in advance, I apologize and I hope that nobody hates me :-/
Also, disclaimer: I don't own Twilight or Stephanie Meyer's character's, though I did change Esme's background and created her daughter, Sica, who I do own. I've been forgetting to place that on my stories, which I know everyone knows, anyways, but...whatever, I said it, LOL!

Never in a million years would a vampire had thought that they'd be able to have children. The men, anyways. The women, frozen forever in that state, would no longer be able to accommodate a growing child, but if a vampire male mated with a human? No one thought it possible, until it happened.

In the Cullen coven, Carlisle was the oldest, by far. His original birth-date is unknown, even to him, but it was sometime in the 1640s. He was alone until he met and turned Edward Masen in 1918, and Edward left for a while right after Rosalie Hale and her mate Emmett McCarty came to be with them in the 1930s. When Edward came back, it was just the four of them until the 50s when Alice, being able to see the future and having seen them long before, along with her mate Jasper Whitlock, came to be with them.
They lived as a family unit, moving around every few years until they came to be in Alaska in the early to mid 80s. Edward and Carlisle were the only two without mates and as Carlisle worked at the hospital, that took up quite a bit of his time. But one day, he met his mate while attending to her wounds and the wounds of her daughter, who was a small, malnourished child who looked to be in pain, but not as much as her mother was. The child had skin that could be compared to his, but not quite as tough. That's when the little girl, as if reading Carlisle's mind, replied softly, “I'm most like you because my father is like you.”
Carlisle took a deep, unneeded breath. “And what would that be?”
“A vampire,” she whispered, casting a sidelong glance at her mother. “My mother's human, barely surviving my birth, but you have to help us before he kills us!” Carlisle noticed the little girl, probably no older than five, talking and acting like an adult, and being protective over her mother. Carlisle felt the same pull towards the woman...Esme.
“Sica...will you please be my helper?” Carlisle asked the little girl, sweetly. Sica smiled shyly, nodding her head, hoping that he'd help them, after this. She got up, going to get the metal tray and sliding it over to where her mother was. Sica then sat down, hugging her mother with one arm.
“Mama, he's a good person,” she told her mother, kissing her cheek as Carlisle began to stitch up Esme's hand. Then she whispered, even though she knew Carlisle could hear her. “He's just like me.”
Esme's eyes got wide as she looked from her daughter to her doctor. Carlisle looked up at her, smiling, when he took her hand into his own. At that moment an electric shock went through the both of them, and little Sica smiled, knowing they were mates!

Carlisle was able to admit both Esme and Sica under false documentation. When the halls cleared sometime after 3:00am, he decided that this was the time to make their move. He already had Alice waiting in his office, along with Rosalie and Emmett and Jasper were standing guard downstairs, waiting. Edward had the car pulled up to the side, waiting for his cue. All of them would do anything for Carlisle, especially since he gave almost all of them a second chance.
Soon, Carlisle and Alice, along with Sica and Esme met by the car and were soon joined by Rosalie, who had faked some medical documents along with Jasper and Emmett, who left a trail of blood for others to find, and after everyone was in the car, Edward drove them all away.

By the time the Cullen's had settled in Forks, it had been two months and Carlisle and Esme had already gotten married. Sica, who was not even a year old, yet, already looked 6.
The Cullen's were planning Esme's transformation when Alice excitedly ran into the room, disturbing everyone's thoughts. “We need to hold off on that. At least for another month or so.”
“Why?” Esme asked, confused like everyone else was. She watched as Alice's face split into a grin and Sica got wide-eyed, smiling just as big as Alice was.
“Mommy, I'm going to be a big sister!” Sica said, hurrying over and hugging her mother. Carlisle never thought she'd have another child, but he felt blessed...all of the Cullen's did, for they were now getting a life that they'd only dreamed about, beforehand.

One month later, two day's after Sica's birthday, Isabella Marie Cullen was welcomed into the world by her whole family, and as her father transformed her mother into a vampire, like the rest were, Edward held on to the little girl for dear life, knowing now that he had found his mate, and would never let her go.
