When he got to the compound, he ran straight to the medical bay. He looked around until his eyes found Clint. He quickly made his way over to him.

"Where is she?" he asked feeling desperate.

Clint stood from his chair and motioned to the door. Bucky didn't hesitate to walk in. His eyes landed on Wanda and her still body. She looked pale and tired. He took a seat next to her and took her hand. Cho came in with Clint right behind her. They went to stand behind him.

"Is she going to be ok?" he whispered knowing that they could hear him.

"She has a concussion from hitting her head on the wheel a punctured shoulder blade and hip," she told him.

"And the baby?"

"The babies are fine."

Everything felt to be going in slow motion. He was confused as to why she said babies instead of baby. It then hit him that they'd be having twins.

"You mean we're having twins?" he asked as the tears started to form in his eyes.

Cho shared a light chuckle. "That's right."

Bucky looked at Wanda who still was out.

"You hear that Doll, they're gonna be twins," he whispered to her. It was hard for him to see her like this. So lifeless.

"We had to perform surgery. Some pieces got into her wounds. It might take a while for her to heal."

Bucky just nodded his head in response. Cho made her way out as Clint stayed behind. He knew it was hard for him right now. To see his future wife in such a state. He squeezed his shoulder before making his way out. As soon as he was out the door Bucky let the tears slip out. He couldn't be strong anymore. Everything began to way down on him. The pregnancy, the engagement, now the hospital bill. They hadn't even thought about a room for the twins. It was all too much for him at the moment.

His thoughts were interrupted by the door opening.

"Hey Buck," greeted Steve. He quickly whipped his tears not wanting them to see him in such a state.

"Hey," he croaked.

"How is she?"

"Not so good."

"I'm sorry to hear."

Ugh. Bucky hated that word. Sorry. He knew that that's how people apologized or felt bad but he's heard enough sorry's for a lifetime. Tony came closer to the bed but as he did the monitor started to beap faster. He immediately took a step back and when he did it went back to normal.

Steve and Bucky shared a look.

"She can sense you," Bucky told him not taking his eyes off of Wanda.

Tony looked at them in confusion.

"Your thoughts are too loud. She can't block them," he explained.

Tony nodded his head and made his way out. Steve crossed the room to stand next to Bucky.

"She's gonna be okay Buck"

It was late at night when Wanda woke up. She tried to sit up but felt undeniable pain so lied back down. Bucky was by her side too lost in thought to notice that she was awake. When he finally looked at her she looking at the ceiling.

"How're you feeling Doll?" he asked as he traced his thumb over her knuckles.

She turned her head to look at him with a confused expression.
