I know I've published a lot of stories lately, but I just need to do all these ideas before I lose them entirely. Please bare with me with all the new stories coming out.

In the year 2058, a groundbreaking study which has been proven to work in theory, has granted people the ability of flight. Four people have volunteered to undergo this augmentation and test it. Y/N L/N, Jack Chrysler, Elizabeth Price, and Ryan Parker.
Little known to the world, you and your friends are part of an Assassin company.

"Mr L/N, we are ready to operate. When you wake up you will feel a bit of discomfort under your shoulder blades, but know it will go away in due time." The specialist surgeon said calmly.

"Thank you. Let's get this over with." You said nervously. You've always been scared of operations, but you want to do this because of the benefits this can have in combat and transport.

Timeskip half an hour:

You are out of surgery and awake. It hurts, a lot. You lay there and the doctor did some checkups, then you got cleared and discharged.

"Hey Y/N! How you feeling?" Chitaru asked casually.

"It feels like someone nailed bricks into my back to be honest." You said with a sigh.

"Do you think it's worth it though?" She asked casually.

"Well it's too late to go back now. Have you ever thought of going for the implants?" You asked nonchalantly.

"I have thought of it, but I couldn't. It looks like it causes more pain than fortune." She said with honesty.

"So far, it feels like that too. I did get some instructions on how to use it though. It says that once the discomfort is gone, I can activate and deactivate the Icarus Globes with my mind. I still only have an idea of what this is capable of." You said casually.

"Well, let's hope it brings an advantage and not a disadvantage." She replied.

"For sure. So how did your mission go?" You asked casually.

"It ended in failure. Somehow, Toukaku managed to fend off against eleven of us at once. Luckily the agency decided on a second chance when I came crawling back." Chitaru replied cautiously.

"And the target?" You asked cautiously.

"She is alive. Tokaku decided to use her skills to defend her, the agency approved, much to my suprise. The ex target, Haru Ichinose has actually been recruited to the agency and is working with us now." Chitaru said with a sigh.

"Why would someone want to work with the same people who tried to kill her, exactly?" You asked sarcastically, starting to walk with Chitaru

"That's beyond me. However, I do remember something about her being into forgiveness, she somehow managed to speak to me like a normal, everyday person within a minute of me trying to crush her with a stage light setup." She replied with a chuckle.

"You're joking! No ways..." You said with much disbilief.

"Ask Tokaku and herself. I'll take you right to them and you can ask them yourself." Chitaru said nonchalantly.

"Let's go then." You said, wanting to hear it yourself.

You and Chitaru continued talking until you got to the training ground, where you saw a brown haired girl get thrown to the ground by one of the trainers.

"That is Haru Ichinose. The one I was sent to kill, along with eleven others." Chitaru said casually.

You can hear the trainer yelling at Haru, as she apologised and tried again.
