Chapter XX

Two day has passed and I still wasn't talking to Miss Williams.

Maybe it was a mistake, maybe it was a bad idea to mess around a teacher like that. I knew that there was something between us but after I found the letter, she didn't seem to care about the fact that I wasn't around her anymore.

I wanted her to understand that I was mad but at the same time sad because she just didn't have enough courage to tell me what she wanted me to know.

I didn't really care about hurting her, I just wanted to be alone for quite some time.

Today was the last day of the week and I only had 2 hours of French Literature.

I was already in school because I promised Kaily to join her for breakfast because we didn't really hang out those days.

Kaily was the only person that I really trusted. She always knew when something was off.

When I finally found her waiting for me in the hallway, she ran to me and hugged me like it's been years since we've seen each other.

" Jess! Gosh it feels like it's been an eternity since we saw each other! " she said still holding me in her arms.

" I'm sorry I wasn't really in the mood those days " I said trying to hide the fact that I litteraly slept with my teacher.

She looked at me and already knew something was off.

" What's wrong? I can see something's bothering you "

I told her to go outside because I already had enough problems, and someone knowing what was going between me and Miss Williams wasn't the best thing right now.

I told Kailey everything without missing any detail.

" Whaaat?! You slept with Miss- "

I quickly put my hand on her stupid mouth because if I didn't, I think I already would be dead.

" Shut up Kaily! " I said whispering to her.

She moved my hand and just looked at me with her shocked face.

" Are you serious? "

" Yes I'm serious Kaily, do you see me smiling ? " I said trying to convince her.

After inspecting my facial expression, she looked at me.

" I don't know what to do Kaily. She doesn't seem to care that I'm avoiding her. It's like she doesn't even know who I am " I said not trying to sound too sad.

" Stop making that face. She made a mistake and if she can't even admit that to herself then I guess she'll loose someone precious " she said smiling at me.

" If she doesn't care about you avoiding her then you just have to stop caring about her caring about you "

I looked at her confused.

" Did I make myself clear? " she raised an eyebrow.

" I have absolutely no idea what you just said " I said looking at her.

" Jeez! Okay what I wanted to say is that you have to stop caring about her. It's like you can't stop thinking about her. If she want to play that game, then I guess you'll have to do the same, by ingoring her. " she said looking at me, trying to make me understand.

" Jesus Christ Jess you didn't got it either?! "

" I got it! I got it! Stop shouting! " I said trying to calm her down.

" I'm not shouting, you're shouting "

We both looked at each other and started laughing about how stupid this conversation was.

After finishing our breakfast, Kaily and I said goodbye to each other and I went to my first hour of French Literature.

I think that's one of the subject I really liked.

The teacher was explaining a book that we had to read during the past week.

During these two hours I honestly learned a lot about the author of that book and about the book itself.

I liked French but going home was, I think, one of the best feeling in the world.

While opening the door and exiting the schoool, I felt someone touch my shoulder. I immediately turned around and of course saw Miss Williams. Of course, who elese could grab my shoulder in front of the whole school like that.

She looked at me with her blue eyes and I have to be honest, I was trying to be mad at her.

Even if I was, her beauty was quite distracting.

" Are you okay? " Miss Williams said looking at me.

" Yeah. Why? "

" You haven't spoken to me for almost a week. What's wrong? "

After remembering what was written in that letter, I was starting to get a little mad.

" Nothing is wrong. I just don't think it's appropriate to spend that much time with a teacher. I think you know what I mean, so now if you'll excuse me I have to go home Miss Williams " I said, then turned around making my way home.

Whoa I really just did that.

This chapter didn't have much action but don't worry I'll try updating. I'm not entirely sure when but I guess I just have to found some inspiration.
