The Chaos Complex

Chloe looked up at the large building and held her breath She now owned the Chaos Complex. This was a huge step in her life and she hoped she wouldn't mess it up. SHe stepped inside and rode the elevator all the way up to her penthouse and went to unpack

The next person to arrive was Chloe's friend Molly. Chloe had appointed her and three other people landlords over the building. SHe stood in the lobby waiting for the residents to arrive. A few moments later a slightly tired looking girl dragging three teenagers behind her. She walked up to Molly "I assume you're one of the landlords here?" she asked

"Sure am, are you a resident?"

"Yes and no, I'm also a landlord but I have these three-" Emma pointed back at the three teenagers who had struck a match, "YOU CAN'T START A FIRE OUR FIRST DAY HERE!" she yelled and then turned back to Molly ' To take care of" she said finishing her sentence. Molly blinked in surprise.

"Oh so you're the landlord with-" Molly looked at the memo Chloe had sent. "It says here you listed them as 'The Elmo Triplets'? Starry, Mew, and AJ?"

"Yup that's them alright." she decided not to tell the story. "Don't ask why they're called that."

"Hey em, can we go ride that Ferrari outside?" Starry, one of the Elmo Triplets asked.

"NO ONE TOUCHES MY FERRARI!" Molly shouted

"Sorry about them they're all a little- chaotic. Anyways I'm Emma."

"I'm Molly, you and your uh- hooligans will be staying in apartment 666." she handed Emma the apartment keys.

"Okay, thanks." Emma turned to the three teenagers, "ELMOS! ATTENTION! APARTMENT 666! GO NOW!" They all ran to the elevator fighting over who got to press the button

"Well this is going to be interesting," Molly said to herself as Emma followed after the Elmos.

Angel walked down the street to her new apartment. She had heard that the owner was a well-liked person in the city. She walked into the parking lot to see a blue jeep, a Ferrari, and a minivan covered in- Elmo stickers? Along with a few other cars parked. Angel had left her mint green moped at a friends house because she had felt like walking today. The building was called The Chaos Complex, she thought it was an odd name for such a normal looking building. At least she thought it was normal.

She skipped into the lobby with a plate of cookies in one hand and her luggage in the other. The other landlords had arrived along with the security guards. Some residents had gone up to their apartments while others were in the lobby chatting with one another. One of the landlords came over to Angel " Ah another resident, what's your name?"

"Angel Melek." Her actual name was Addi but most people called her Angel. Only a select few called her Addi. The landlord looked over the list,

"Welcome Angel you are housed in apartment 777. If you need anything let the security or the landlords know."

"Thank You!" Angel skipped off to the elevator and rode up to her floor. She went and set down her luggage in her bedroom. She then went to greet her neighbors. She stopped by apartment 888 first. She knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds before a girl came to the door.

"Hiya," the girl said looking up from reading fanfiction.

"Hi hi! I'm Angel and I'm your neighbor!"

"Nice, I'm Storm"

Angel held out the plate of cookies. "Want one?"

"Sure." Storm took a cookie

Angel looked over at the tablet that Storm held in her hands. " Whatcha readin' there?"

"Oh this uh- its some Sanders Sides fanfiction."

"You like Sanders Sides?" Angel asked. "Me too! I thought I'd be the only one!"

"Really? I did too!"

"We are so talking about it later, but I've gotta go meet the other people on our floor. Do you wanna come?"

"I think I'm good for now. Anyway nice to meet you, Angel."

"You too Storm!"

Angel waved goodbye and headed down the hall to apartment 666. As she neared the apartment she saw smoke seeping through the cracks of the door. She knocked on the door. The first elmo triplet, Starry answered the door.

"Ooo freshmeat!" Starry grinned mischievously

"I'm sorry what?"

"Oh nothing, anyway your our neighbor aren't you?"

"Oh yeah, I'm Angel I'm in 777" she offered a cookie to Starry. " I just came by to say hi- Is that smoke?" she said gesturing to the increasing smoke.

"Yup we're making dinner," Starry said casually, taking five cookies.

"Is it supposed to be burning?"

"Probably not, but we like it that way." She motioned for Angel to come in " Welcome to Chaos Angel, do you wanna see my Furby?"
