I know I haven't updated in sooo long, but I just didn't think it was good enough, but anyway, here it is, and it's unedited, so tell me if there's any mistakes.......
Rebecca got home from school tired and annoyed. She was still grumpy over the whole detention thing and she didn't like being grumpy, so it was just making her even grumpier. She stalked into her room without saying hi to her family and pulled her long raven hair out of its ponytail, before flopping onto her bed and pulling out her phone. Remembering the instagram person, she eagerly checked her direct messages and, as predicted, there was a new message from help_is_here "Hard work? This is just what I enjoy, and you do too! I'm sure you don't consider it work ;)" and after it was another message "Hey, I was just thinking, wouldn't it be cool if there was some way we could talk to people in person, instead of on the internet, or even just on the phone?” She looked at her phone for a second before an idea began to slowly form. She adjusted her position and typed her reply "That's would be awesome, I always feel like I can't do enough over the web, and I just thought of something! We could start our own radio station and people could call in and talk to us and stuff! Thoughts?"
After that she was feeling considerably better after that so she braved going downstairs to her family. When she got there her whole family was down there. Her mum and dad were sitting on the sofa talking about politics, the twins, Jasmine and Lola (both 18), were at the table eating some kind of heath food. Jules was lying on the floor in front of the TV with her little siblings George and Stephanie (George was 7 and Stephanie was13), and coming towards her in the direction of the stairs was Dean, the oldest of the kids (and probably her favourite) at 21 years old and he affectionately ruffled her hair on the way up.
After announcing her presence to the household, she walked sat down at the table with the twins. "What are you eating?” She said with a disgusted face. Lola made a face with her and pushed her bowl away from her self, saying "you can have mine Jas, I'm not eating anymore of this crap!" "NO SWEARING IN FRONT OF THE KIDS" her mum yelled from the sofa. They all laughed and the three younger ones didn't even look up from there show.
"So what is it though?" Rebecca asked again. 'Um, it's this thing that I found online and its supposed to burn fat like paper, but I don't feel any Skinner yet." Jas (Jasmine) said looking down at her flat stomach. "AND" Lola added "It tastes like absolute-" "IF YOU SAY WHAT I THINK YOUR GOING TO SAY YOU WILL BE DEAD LOLA EVANS" their mum yelled from across the room and they started laughing again. Their parents were usually really lenient, with curfews, friends, chores, everything. But the one thing they wouldn't stand for was swearing in front if anyone under 12. They didn't mind if you were cussing anywhere else, just not in front of the "kids".
Lola and Jas started telling Rebecca about this new guy at school "he's super hot" "super duper hot" "but he can't tell us apart!" " we look so different, but he hasn't gotten our names right twice in a row!"
At this Rebecca laughed. The twins thought they look like different animals, but in reality they were so alike even their best friends got confused sometimes. But that was never a problem for Rebecca, Jas was by far the girlier one whereas Lola only wore skirts on occasion and was definably the tomboy of the two. But in the end, they were both equally pretty, and both equally attractive, whish meant sometimes guys had a hard time choosing which one they wanted to date, and even when they did, they might ask out the wrong twin.Rebecca’s phone vibrated in her hand and she quickly checked what it was. help_is_here had replied! "04********, call me now! :)" she excused herself from her family and went up to her room before dialling. They picked up on the second ring. "Hello?" she said tentatively
"HI!!! Is this becca.is.awesome!" the voice, which she could now identify as male shouted back excitedly.
"Uh, yeah, that's me, but my names actually Rebecca"
"Cool, I'm Charlie, do you mind if I call you Rebie?!"
"Rebie, is that even a name?"
"No but it suites you in my head"
"Okay then... uh so is this about my name or the radio station?"
"I don't know, you called" At that Rebecca laughed. She had only just "met" Charlie, but she already found him funny
"OK then, I called about the radio"
"Yeah about that, it is the best idea I have EVER heard and I really want to do it but, I don't know how old you are, but I have school, so we could only do it on weekends or after school, unless you wanted to do it by your self"
Oh, right school, she had forgotten about that. "I have school as well, maybe it can just be a weekend thing then?"
"Yeah OK, by the way how old are you? I'm 16, in case you were wondering..."
"Uh I’m 16 as well, in year 10"
"Oh, ok cool, so do you want to meet up on the weekend and look further into it?" His upfrontness about it caught her off guard. If she had been by herself, she probably never would have gone further than the idea, but she could tell he was serious.
She was suddenly filled with this beautiful warm feeling. She finally had a friend who understood how much she cared about this and would willingly accompany her to do something. "Yeah that would be great.
**********
It was Saturday morning and Rebecca got off the train at circular Quay, where she was supposed to meet Charlie at 11. She checked her watch, it was 10:50. She settled for leaning against one of the post near wharf 3 and waited patiently. Looking around her, there were at least 6 boys around her age waiting by the wharf, so she had no way of telling which one of them might be Charlie.
Just as she was about to get her phone out and text him, a woman in front of her tripped over a crack in the pavement, stumbling, and spilling her coffee all over her expensive looking clothes. The woman looked down at her clothes, said "shit" then promptly burst into tears.
Rebecca ran up to her pulling some tissues out of her bag and handing them to the lady. "are you ok!"
She looked at Rebecca and laughed half heartedly, "not really, I’m just going to a job interview, and this is my last chance." her voice broke "if I don't get this job, I don't know what I’m going to do" a small whimper escaped her lips, looking down at her ruined clothes, "and now there’s no way I’m going to get it!"
The lady broke down completely now, tears falling steadily from her eyes. Rebecca reached up and pressed the tissue into the ladies hands "here, come with me we can clean it up" And Rebecca half dragged the lady into the bathrooms.

CHARLIE
Charlie was waiting at circular Quay, when this lady tripped over and spilled her coffee all over her self. As he rushed to help her, a girl wearing a short blue summer dress beat him there. She had long dark brown hair and beautiful golden brown eyes, and he could tell in an instant that this girl, was Rebecca.
As he watched Rebecca help the lady up and take her to clean her shirt, his heart skipped a beat. Charlie had met people with the biggest heart you could imagine, who wouldn't hesitate giving their life for another, but more often than not, they were also, unjustly bullied. Of course, he had seen Rebecca’s instagram. Her friends had no idea about what she did, and she did, in fact have friends but he didn't realize she would look like this. He wasn't quite sure what this was, but it gave of the vibe of, 1; having a lot of friends 2; being really kind and 3; well three wasn't really a vibe. Anyone could see, that Rebecca was also unbelievably pretty.
He waited, slightly shell shocked, for Rebecca to come back. When she did, she was trailing the lady from before; you could barley see the coffee stain, and they were laughing together. Rebecca pulled her in for a hug before waving goodbye, and then resumed her spot leaning on the post.
Charlie walked up to Rebecca and held out a hand. she looked up from the ground, and before she could say anything, Charlie introduced himself. "HI Rebie, nice to meet you, Let's see if you know who I am."
