So this is a little short as well. While I was writing it, I had Pennyroyal tea by Nirvana stuck in my head, but I'd rather have you think of Where did you sleep last night by Nirvana for this chapter. Thanks for reading, -S

Chapter 2

"It's been awhile," he said. He was wearing a gray wife beater and jeans. "You look great. How have things been?"

"To be honest, really bad," I said. I dropped my shoulder bag, kicked off my converse, and laid down next to him on his bed. "Are those the new lyrics for the Angry Natives?" I asked. The Angry Natives is their band.

"Yeah, Rick was going to lock us in the basement again until we came up with a good song, but we convinced him we'd take it home and work on it."

I looked at the time. It was 6 pm. "Hey, listen," I said. "I don't really have a place to crash. I was wondering if maybe...."

"Oh yeah," he said, as he got off the bed and pulled out one underneath. "Um, this okay?" he asked.

"It's perfect, honestly," I replied. I yawned. I didn't sleep much on the 10 hour flight from Germany, and it just started to kick in. "I'm kinda tired. Is it okay if I sleep now?"

"Um, yeah sure. I'll just go downstairs and do this..." he said, but I interrupted him.

"Oh no, I'm a really heavy sleeper. Seriously, a bomb could go off and I'd sleep right through it," I said.

He got back on the bed. I grabbed my duffel, found a band t-shirt, and took off my leather jacket.

"Do you want me to go out?" he asked.

"You don't have to. I don't really care," I replied. I took my tank and jeans off. He gave me a really funny look and I had to turn around to keep from laughing. It was somewhere between surprise, excitement, and pure satisfaction. I couldn't help it if I had a good figure. I was tall, skinny and according to most guys had a really hot body, so I guess I didn't really mind the attention. I pulled the band shirt over. It was from Wunderbred, the Angry Native's name before they changed it. Nick had made the t-shirts, since he loved art and was really good at it, and had wrote his name on the back when I let him. I loved the t-shirt, especially since it had the blues brothers on the front.

I crawled into the bed. He was still looking at me and grinning. "What?" I asked.

"Your hot," he replied, and made me laugh. "So are you," Isaid as he grinned again. He went back to his lyrics and I fell asleep. I had been sleeping a maximum of 4 hours since I left Seattle, and for the first time since then, I had a real good night's sleep.

(Song playing in the background as she falls asleep: Where did you sleep last night by Nirvana)
