The First Encounter

Yook Semiconductors Corporation. The name of a company that is making a wide buzz in the Business Industry since it had been established. It started as a small firm situated in the rising town of Jeju back then,owned by an ordinary business man named Yook Sunjae.

With barely small amount in hand, enough for him to be able to purchase a lot and build a four- walled office, he started his venture. The man is rational, yet a dreamer, so despite being novice in the said field, it never stop him to compete with the other companies who is by the way, more established and senior in the business.

And just like other business men, he also had his share of failures,but unlike them, he never stopped. Quitting is not a part of this man's dictionary, indeed.

Hindrances and failures. He treated it as a challenge and at the same time, a motivation to strive harder.

Until the time came that all of his struggles and perseverance was then appreciated when a certain Telecommunication company contacted him, asking for his participation for their expanding company, as a business partner and source of their materials for their products.

And this marked the start of his so- called success as it had open more doors for his tiny business to be recognized not only in the local setting but internationally.

Who would have thought that the small firm back then will become a well-performing company which is now running through generations?

Yook Sungjae, the only son and the future heir of the Yook's business, is fully aware of his responsibility not only for his family but also for the company and the people who work for them. Yes, the thought of it had been inculcated in his mind ever since he was a child.

It's not that his parents had pressured him. It had always been his own thinking. Hearing from others about his future role, which is to lead people, is too much for him.

He was told years ago that once he reach 20, he will begin in handling  their business.

He originally planned to tell his father that he don't want to be in the company once he reach fifteen. But when he was about to confide to him, his father told that he wants to pass on his title to him and no one else.

And as a son who dearly loves his Appa, he was left no choice but to accept it. He don't want to disappoint his father after all.

So instead of pushing for his original plan, he ended up asking for himself to be trained in the company, as early as possible. With that, he found the older  Yook delighted upon his willingness to join the company at his young age.

At the age of fifteen, he was formally working in their company, starting at the lowest rank possible.

He was slowly introduced to his new world with the assistance of his Hyung, Dong Wook.

Unlike the other teens in his age, he is now juggling his time as a student and a worker in OJT.

Again, it is his decision to be like that. He dismissed himself to have a life outside the company and school.

Luckily, he still had few friends, who happens to be the future heir of their respective companies. Eunkwang, Ilhoon, Changsub, and Peniel-his classmates, had been telling him to just enjoy his life as a teenager and not to be immersed solely in his office works, but this guy doesn't budge an inch. He is too determined to work his ass off and to familiarize himself in their business.
