The Origins

Chapter 2

Moving fast across the life-filled city into the woods of the city which was situated at its border, Zayn and his siblings whisked through the forests that blocked out the silver moonlight.

Getting to a certain location William signalled for all of them to halt their movements, listening keenly to everything around him with his heightened hearing he was able to detect the voices of the witches he was searching for and immediately he moved across the forest faster than the eyes could see.

William in mere seconds stood outside an abandoned house that was set ablaze a few years ago, attempting to go in in a fit of rage he was pulled back by Zayn.

"Brother you don't have to go in there hastily looking for vengeance ". Zayn looked at him with a certain kind of smile that indicated he had already made a plan.

"So what do you suppose I do? ". William replied awaiting Zayn's answer.

"First you know we can't go in there because we are not invited in ". Zayn said as he placed his hands behind his pocket.

"Well I suggest that we just burn them inside.. It would be better to hear their screams". Daniel said in a sadistic manner.

"Where is the fun in that?! ". Nicholas asked Daniel, looking back to the house. "Its better for us to go in and kill each one of them".

"I agree with Nicholas... It would better to batter my footwear just to kill some bitches. Claire said giving a very sinister smile.

"But the decision lays with Zayn since he apparently has a plan... Don't you brother? ". Claire said looking at Zayn as Zayn gave her a smile thereby confirming her words.

"Yes I certainly do dear sister, and it involves another witch from this coven ". Zayn said then he looked at a nearby tree and signalled a witch to come. Moving towards them fear was embedded into her when she casted her gaze on the family of vampires before her.

With a trembling voice she said to Zayn, "Please don't kill anyone there.. You--You promised me that you won't hurt anyone ". Kristine said to Zayn whilst tears began gathering in her eyes.

Zayn smiled walking towards her as he gazed into her eyes making his azure blue eyes more potent and visible to her, the reflection of his eyes been seen in her eyes.

"You have my word, I won't hurt or kill anyone of your witch family. Now would be so kind to remove the barrier from the house ". Zayn gestured pointing towards the house.

Kristine walked to the house and spread out her arms as she began to chant magic spells and after a while the barrier was removed and she turned to Zayn.

"Its done Zayn". Kristine said with her head down.

"Well let's go in shall we". Zayn clapped his hands signalling them to go in, as they all walked in.

The Leader of the Scorpio coven quickly noticed the removal of the barrier and before she could remake it the door leading to the room to where the witches were flew off it's hinges as they all cuddled together with the children at the back, the teenagers at the middle and the adults and elders at the front.

"Who dares interrupts the scorip--". Said Juliana.

Before she could finish the statement William walked in and immediately it felt as if the oxygen in the room vanished and the weight of fear was equivalent to the weight of Jupiter. His very presence made all the adults move back leaving the Leader to face the elder brother of the "origins" alone.

"I was told of a certain plot against me which was injected by the members of this coven. So I want the reason for it before I lose my cool and do something drastic, and remember there are children here ".
