(Jobs and his friends are heading to Palatka Casino)
"Gosh "Finn sighed. "I hope my slip doesn't cut. It's my only hope of survival as we speak "
"Stop complaining, it's not like there's hope for you for anything at all " Ryder said jokingly.
"I really don't know why you guys like this casino so much. For Pete's sake, it's at the end of the city and country which is just a fat reminder of how we are stuck here in this hell hole against our will. Even though people like me can't afford to leave the country but it's better knowing you can but you couldn't than knowing you can't, even if you couldn't "
"Yeah, it just reminds us of how you are wanted on Mazra's 'Bounty list ' Clark said.
"Yeah rub it in my face like it's a good thing. "Graham said with an eye roll.
"It's just that foreigners used to be all over the casino and we could easily cheat them because they can't gamble like we do, but now... there's no sign of them" Graham said as they walked into the casino.
They walk to the counter for yesterday bets and it didn't take time to discover who lost -
"Oh no no no no no no! "Finn screamed. " This can't be happening to me. I lost. My wife is going to cook me for dinner. I have to wait till next month before I receive my salary and the stupid job doesn't even pay well "
"If it's not I understand what you are going through, I would have laughed thinking you just cracked a joke with me " he said as he chuckled making everyone to roll their eyes in response. "But I feel you bro. So let me get you guys drinks. OK? " Jobs asked
Wesley breathes deeply "Your not helping Jobs " he said.
"Yeesh, I was just trying to be funny, weirdo " Jobs muttered.
"I heard that " Wesley exclaimed. "But some drinks will be nice ". Gray leaves to get some drinks.
"Speaking of Jobs ..."Clark said
"Yeah, what happened to jobs? "Ryder asked.
"Oh I'm sorry, Ryder." Clark said not sounding apologetic. "I forgot that it is not possible for two words to have the same spelling but pronounced differently " he said with his voice dripping in sarcasm.
"Gosh sorry. Now can you explain what happened to Gray? "Ryder asked.
"OK... So I was thinking there's a way we can help Finn out of his misery and even help ourselves while we're at it " Clark said before looking at everyone to see their reactions.
"Hmmm... Go on " Finn said getting interested in where Clark was taking his idea to.
"How about we... umm... kill Gray? " Clark said.
"What? " They said in unison.
"Shut up, stop shouting. He might hear us ."
"Why should we kill him?. Friends don't kill friends ".Finn said.
"He's still our friend, right?" Ryder asked
"We all know the Gray that was our friend died when that list came out about a month ago and personally... I never liked him in the first place. I just hung out with him because of you guys " Clark admitted.
"So because we don't like him anymore or because he has changed means we are allowed to kill him?" Wesley asked in disbelief.
"Ugh, of course not. But at least let's consider Finn. He's still our friend and it might be his only hope til next month and we might make gain ourselves "
"But... It's against the law and he's my best friend "Finn said.
"This is almost a lawless society and what we do will not be held against us even if we leave the boundaries of this place and besides... Family before friends. Blood is thicker than water. Am I right, Finn? "Clark asked mischievously .
"I'm not sure about this " Wesley admitted . "Me either " Ryder said.
"Do you know what? , If you guys aren't OK with this stuff, I'll just do it myself without any of your interventions, OK? " Clark asked.
"Fine. We'll do it even though I don't like this one bit " Finn said before muttering "Remember it's for your family, Finn ".
Gray comes back with the drinks and they spend their drinking and gambling.
"Let's head back to to our homes before my wife accuses me of cheating on her " Finn said while stretching and yawning.
They all agree and left the Casino and after some time walking on the street ,they arrived at a lonely alley.
"Hey Gray " Clark says making Jobs to turn around only to receive a punch on the nose making him stumble backwards ."Ow, what was that for? "
The others join Clark to beat him up
"Guys what did I do? " He says as he screams in pain. "I'm sorry, can't we talk this out? " he negotiated .
"You were feeling like the center of attention because your name was on that stupid list, so we are giving you the attention you deserve and taking your money worth. It's a win-win situation. Finn needs as much help he can get and his your best friend so you wouldn't mind helping him out, would you? "Clark said with a wicked smirk planted on his face.
They stop beating letting him breathe and say his last words.
"Wes? Is this true " Gray asked looking at Wesley making him to turn away without responding. Gray ignored him and turned to Ryder? "You too? "he asked making Ryder to do what Wesley did.
"Finn..."he said as begins to tear up. "You couldn't have agreed to this. Did they bribe you or something because you're my best friend and I know you wouldn't bring yourself to do this... I can't believe you -"
"I'm sorry but family before friends " Finn said shutting his holding back his tears.
"We both knew I never really liked you Jobs. But when your in such a tempting position like you are now, you of all people should know that still trusting a gambler is risky business my friend. So you are just going to have to pay the price. " Clark said as he began to video tape. "Finn, finish him off.
Finn hesitated but took deep breaths and rapidly walked to Jobs and lifted his fist before saying " I'm so sorry, Gray " making him tear up.
"Don't be " Jobs said harshly. "That's what I get for having a best friend who can kill for money since he can't take care of his family "
And with that, Finn knocked him out. Cold.
