I hear a knock on my door and sigh,groaning in pain, as I laid on my drool covered table. "Come in" I say, as I wake up from my sleep.

Good morning sir, I can see you slept at the office again," my secre tary smiled. "Uhh yeah, how was...how was your night? "I say, as I tried to rub the sleep out of my tired eyes."It was okay boss, I heard your wife is no longer with us" she sighs,sounding worried."Yes,i fired her. But...Don't worry about it, I'll find a replacement"I say "Well... You need to do so as soon as possible, she has a lot of your clients, and she's the best in her field"

" well...besides Ellie,but she's assigned to john"she says,
"isn't Kate assigned to john?"

"why," I say,as I look at her.
"extra work I guess" she shrugs.
"The last time I checked, this is my company, I don't care who you assign to me.but I can't keep over working myself"I warned,

Chloe sighs, as she headed for the door, Before turning around to face me, "oh...and happy birthday sir" she smiles at me.
I sigh internally before glaring at her angrily,
"How many times do I have to tell you,don't remind me it's my birthday"

"Well...It's my birthday too,so it's kinda hard to forget sometimes"
"WELL FORGET IT! "my voice fills the room and she returns my wrath with a gasp and a slam of my door.
"Wait,I'm going for a meeting,watch over my office"I say,handing.

There were still stacks of paper work in front of me, that I would have to type and sort out, before the day was through,six months,that's how long I've been here.working under internship,hoping that I'd be assigned to work in such a successful company,yet they chose her over me.is it because she's pretty,sweet...kind,she clearly has something that I don't, she's only been here for two weeks,yet they put her in charge of me,they even put her in charge of laying me off.
